Corghi, a renowned global leader in the vehicle assistance equipment sector, is proud to unveil a cutting-edge two-post car lift, the ERCO HC4502, which prioritises safety, productivity, and ergonomic design. Boasting Italian craftsmanship, iconic design, and a consistent focus on innovation for nearly seven decades, Corghi sets the bar high for the industry. This new lift continues to push the boundaries of excellence in both structural and functional design.

One of the key features of the ERCO HC4502 is the fact that it can be installed in asymmetrical or symmetrical configuration. Asymmetrical design is where the columns are rotated 30º to place the approximate centre of gravity of the vehicle in line with the optimum load capability of the column, reducing unnecessary wear and tear on the column, carriage, and bearings. The vehicle sits back further on the lift and, since most vehicles are front heavy, only about a third of the vehicle sits to the front while two-thirds hang behind on an asymmetric lift. This makes it easy to open the doors and access the interior of a vehicle.

drive-thru clearance. The centre of gravity of the vehicle and the lift are aligned, equalising the load on the columns, carriage, and bearings. That is the more traditional option, and it’s best for shops that work on a variety of vehicles. The most significant benefit of symmetric lifts is that they offer a much larger drive-through area.

Besides this, the HC4502 offers:

• Industry leading 1980mm lifting height and 3200mm internal clearance between the posts

• Columns made from one piece of full length steel, with an 8 fold bending structure and internally built-in reinforcement

• The large base plate (650mmx350mm) is made from 20mm thick steel, has four supporting brackets welded to the base of the column and is secured to the floor by 8 true bolts

• The lifts’ carriages are 1800mm long to provide extra stability and load distribution

• Nylon carriage slider blocks are made from wear-resistant and maintenance free material

• At full extension the 4 x three stage arms provide And much more.
