Alumni News
Greetings from Your Alumni Board President
As I begin my second year as Park Tudor Alumni Board president, I am energized by and grateful for the school’s resiliency during this challenging time. While we cannot currently meet in person, the Alumni Board continues its work to find creative ways to support the school, as well as engage with the students and alumni around the world.
Last year prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alumni Board hosted an annual networking event in Washington, DC, and along with faculty and staff visited young alumni at Notre Dame, Purdue, and Indiana University. We look forward to continuing these in-person events when it is safe to do so.
In October, the Alumni Board, in conjunction with the Park Tudor Parents Association, hosted a virtual pumpkin carving contest. The contest was open to all school divisions and alumni. Entries were submitted via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and prizes were awarded in five categories. The Alumni Board will cosponsor other events with the PTPA and the Park Tudor Booster Club including Trivia Night, and a family movie night under the big tent on the football field.
Last winter, the Alumni Board launched a student-led grant opportunity for current Park Tudor students. The goal is this grant initiative is to expand upon Park Tudor’s proud history of providing unique experiential learning opportunities for students outside of the classroom. Park Tudor classes, organized groups, clubs and individual students, at every grade level, are offered an opportunity to earn funding directly from the Alumni Board for academic, community or other extracurricular undertakings. The first of these grants were awarded to the following Upper School clubs and projects: Microfinance Club, @ptcookingupawareness, and the Women in Stem Club. We look forward to sharing updates on these projects in future editions of the Alumni Times.
It’s more important than ever that we stay connected. If you haven’t already, please connect with the Park Tudor community through social media. You can update your contact information and share big news at parktudor.org/alumni and connect via the LinkedIn Park Tudor Alumni Group, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. We hope you continue to stay safe and well.
With gratitude, Matt Kleymeyer ’00

Classes Hold Virtual Reunions
CLASS OF 1980 CLASS OF 1985 CLASS OF 2000
While we weren’t able to gather together for Alumni Weekend 2020 as we’d originally planned, several class reps organized virtual reunions for their classes.
The class of 2013 got in on the action, too, hosting a virtual get-together earlier in April.
