What does PARLIAMENTARIAN stand for? What does a PARLIAMENTARIAN do? With my penchant for parliamentary word games, I was challenged by a colleague to answer those questions in a unique way: trying to compose a sentence or two with each word beginning with the letters spelling PARLIAMENTARIAN. I took the challenge and here’s what I came up with:

Practice Appropriate RONR Language In All Meetings, Especially Now. Twelfth All-important RONR Is A Necessity!

Now that you’ve received your own copy of the 12th edition of RONR, can you complete a Big Ben and Leaning Tower of Pisa challenge? That is to say, do you have the “time” and “inclination” to try something different? See if you now can come up with an appropriate sentence or two using the first letters of PARLIAMENTARIAN as indicated above—or maybe try completing the challenge with the word(s) PARLIAMENTARY or ROBERT’S RULES. Any takers?
