Pfizer partnered with the Parsons School of Design in four student teams which offered unique solutions to the same design challenge.
The second project identified two key problem arenas: First, that the general public’s understanding of science influences their trust in science and the pharmaceutical industry as a whole. With limited understanding people are less likely to trust the industry. Second, Pfizer’s efforts to address health equity are not reaching those most impacted. Art in all forms fuels hope, heals, and holds communities together. The "Students of New York Pilot" is an effective catalyst for youth’s agency. By connecting students to visual arts, young people learn to utilize design and their own creativity to change not only their education and environment but those around them.
