Intimate Size With a campus of 50 acres and fewer than 200 residents, The Village is conducive to building a closeknit community. Residents form friendships throughout the campus rather than just knowing immediate neighbors. The small size also allows staff to connect to residents and deliver a greater breadth and depth of services to meet the individual needs of each resident.
A Variety of Choices The Village at Brookwood is one of the few nonprofit continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) that offers LifeCare contracts in addition to Fee-for-Service options. A variety of refund options are also available. Residents are able to choose the plan that best fits their needs and finances.
Relationship to a Regional Health Network The Village at Brookwood is the only CCRC in North Carolina that is a part of a regional health network. As a proud member of Cone Health, the Network for Exceptional Care, The Village receives support, guidance and resources — a special relationship that allows access to the latest in medical advances and preventive medicine. Admissions and discharges during periods of hospitalization and recuperation are seamless between the local Cone Health hospital and The Village.
A Secure Future The complete continuum of care is offered at The Village, beginning with a carefree lifestyle in independent living in a garden home or apartment. Then when needed, in-home assistance, assisted living, memory support and skilled nursing offers additional support so you may be secure in knowing you are prepared for any of life’s unforeseen circumstances.
