The Easy Boss E company’s journey begins and ends
with cattle. The development of our company traces to simple and natural cattle behaviour: chewing. There are very few countries where cattle are never individually handled. The one on one interaction of man and bovine is our company’s focus. Make it safer, easier, quicker, stress free and compassionate. The delivery of medications orally using the Easy Boss E device is also an important part of the journey. Based in Canada, Australia and the UK with production occurring in all three countries. Distraction cattle handling is not new. It has been used since 2008 in Western Australia in Bos Taurus breeds. The Easy Boss E company wants to share with the world what the Easy Boss E will do for veterinarians, technicians, handlers, producers.

The Easy Boss E is an oral distraction tool that can reduce fear and stress in your animal when being treated, groomed, tagged etc, and increases safety for both the animal and the stockman. Made of stainless steel tubing it stimulates the animal’s chewing behaviour and calms the animal considerably so they are much more docile in the head gate. Oral medicine (liquid) can also be delivered to cattle using the Easy Boss E.
Quill Removal
Dr Don and Dr Jim use the Oral Distraction Device for two procedures. 1. Examine the Cow’s swollen right lower jaw area outside and inside the mouth. (Without the conventional mouth speculum used for decades in the past) 2. Add greatly in the administration of long acting mineral boluses by allowing simple head control. The two procedures were both done simply and effectively, easy for the cow and easy for the Veterinarians.

This aSanta Gertrudis cow was injured and a successful cleanup and suture of the wound was performed under local anaesthetic with EBE being used as a distraction during the 2 hour surgery. Metacam Pain control during and 48 hrs post operative.
