Palm Reflections Rebecca Pollack
Etching with Prismacolor Pencil 5" x 7" $500
“Palm Reflections” is an etching done by painting “sugar-lift” onto a zinc plate. The sugar solution breaks through the “hard ground” when immersed in hot water, creating a painterly effect. After inking and printing on the press, I added some subtle color with pencil. This etching is from an emerging series I’ve been working on, of various reflections on water, based upon my photographs.
