On Dec. 15th, I did the Salvation Army Bell Ringing located in TCU Kroger. Throughout the day, there was not only bell ringing but also the sounds of flute and violin. Each donation that came to the bucket would be going to Salvation Army for non-profit and purely helping purposes. I was proud to have helped in this memorable event at the end of the year.

The New Year KEY CLUB PLEDGE As 2012 is gone and 2013 is coming by, service is not and never will be over. The new year has plenty of service projects both new and old. The elections for new officer positions are also coming up. There is also DCON that is coming (probably the most exciting event of the year for Key Clubbers) that will

KEY CLUB MISSION
I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and God; and to combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.
Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership.

meetings or lunch or after school.
What is DCON, you ask? Well, from a 2-time attendee’s perspective, it’s only one of the best weekends ever. If that isn’t enough to entice you to attend however, here are the details: It is a fun-filled weekend at the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas where you will have the opportunity to meet 1500+ Key Clubbers from across Texas-Oklahoma. There will be inspirational speakers, a talent show, many competitions such as quiz bowl and Just Dance, forums to teach leadership skills and more about serving in Key Club, and more. This year’s theme is “Haunted House” and the stage and hotel rooms will be decorated accordingly! Overall, it is a great way to learn more about the organization and service (especially for you underclassmen!) while celebrating the great year that has passed and getting excited for the upcoming one! Get enough hours with our club so you can be sure to attend! You really don’t want to miss it!
Parade of Lights
Socials
Thanksgiving Break was a great time to serve others, and Paschal High School Key Club did just this.At the annual Parade of Lights in Fort Worth, a ton of key clubbers came out to help and walk in the parade. This was definitely one of the most fun and festive events of the year. There were over a hundred floats, which were all unique and covered in beautiful lights. I had so much fun being in the parade and getting to dance to Holiday music as I walked the streets of downtown Fort Worth.

The Poetry Column The winter shook its hair and dandruff dripped down the children seeing the pair of snowflakes put on their boots colored brown into the white they went out of the black they came after he many hours they spent smiles and giggles shook the air which is what I can declare is the expression and impression of new born key clubbers filled with a rejuvenated heart and a punctuated fart. On so we help and serve until the world depart. MERRY CHRIST MAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM Mr. Uniwoahship
