IN TURMOIL Syria ends 2011 with clashes, exactly a year on from the first Arab uprising. As US takes steps to Intervene Over 32 people have been reported killed during fresh protests against the Syrian government, as hundreds of thousands of demonstrators flooded streets across the country. Rights Observatory said more than half a million people turned out for the largest demonstrations in months. Members of the Obama Administration have confirmed that the National Security Council has been instructed to begin seeking options for US intervention in Syria, including what they call the “unlikely� option of setting up a no-fly zone.

2011 has seen tyrant leaders toppled by people power across the Arab world, as TV pictures beamed of revolution taking place, going through one country on to another it is still very much unfinished business for the people who look for change. 2012 could see more countries follow in similar fashion. passionislam.com
