Fluid: a temporary intervention in Niemeyer’s Ball House group design — with Cibele Eller Rodrigues and Thomas Whyte oriented by professor Fernando Maculan oct. — nov. 2010 the purpose of this course was for students to design and plan an intervention in one of Niemeyer’s finest works: Pampulha’s Ball House.
the design proposed by the group is a visitable pneumatic structure obtained from the projection of the garden’s pond.
the design process was based mainly in prototyping. By the end of the course we were able to not only obtain an object that could be constructed, but also its cost: about R$5000.
prototypes: from a basic balloon to a 1/3 scale model

for this course students had to identify a demand for a Museum that could support any type of image and sound based exhibition.

independent project — with Felipe Carnevalli, Vítor Lagoeiro and collaborators oriented by professor Celina Borges jul. 2011 — present date
recently the magazine has won Mixsórdia’s — a Belo Horizonte-based cultural guide — prize as best printed publication of 2011.
Parahyba magazine is a project idealised and run by students of the School of Architecture of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. the main goal is to generate a democratic space for discussion of the current situation of our cities. Every issue has a definite theme, around which people from anywhere and any areas can send their work to be published. The works are selected by a group of students and professors.
the students dominate the whole process, from selecting the works to writing support articles and graphic design.
