Recently an Assistant Pastor was called to Pastor a church. The Pastor of the church was asked who he would have as an Assistant, his reply not in a hurry as there are 15 licensed ministers setting in the pews although they will be called upon as needed. What a shame that men called of God are choosing to sit, instead they seek after what they were called to do. Some are waiting for a pastor opening to come to them. I have heard the comment, “oh, he will retire soon or he’s dying so I will be taking his position anyway.” Well, let’s look at your calling from God. Have you sought God for what He wants you to do for Him? Have you yielded yourself as a willing vessel for Him? Not everyone is called to Pastor a church. There are so many ministry needs in the kingdom of God. Most Apostolic Churches started from a pioneer minister that heard the call. They went and started churches in towns that did not have the truth preached. Many started with a few people gathering to hear the Word of God that was given to them, and a church was born. We have many towns and even cities that need a church started, and for the truth to be shared. Go to a nearby town, start teaching bible studies. There is a great need. People want to know the Bible; they want to hear about Jesus. You don’t need a building, just a place to sit down with those wanting to seek the Word of God. Ask if you can come to their home, ask a restaurant in off hours that has a spare room, or banks that have conference rooms. Be creative, God will supply as you labor for Him. If you are sitting under a Pastor, have you asked your Pastor if you could do outreach for the church in door knocking, street witnessing, nursing home, jail ministries, shut ins, and hospital visitations? If you are waiting for things to be handed to you rather then you stepping in Faith and seeking God‘s direction, then, why would I choose you, over a man or woman that is already sought direction and is serving the church? If God called you to ministry, it is up to you to go forth, seeking His will for your life, Don t worry about pastoring, if you are not called to be a Pastor… you don’t want the step into that position, but seek God for the area that He wants you to be. A label means nothing if you are not called to be in that area of ministry. Seek His face for direction in your ministry. There are many facets of ministry in which God places people. So you must listen for His direction and not seek things that would be out of line for the purpose God has intended for your life. Be aware wherever you go, be willing to pray, and share what God is doing in your life. Share the Good news of Jesus. It is time to take that step of Faith, allowing God to lead. Seek advice from those who went before you. I am available to you. I have never been one to be content to pew sit. I have done about every job in the church, and out of the church serving God. Let’s make 2011 the year we start making a difference in a lost and dying world. Let’s get moving and fulfil what God has called you to do. http://charismamag.com/index.php/news/29384-kentucky-ministry-takes-church-outside-

Important Notices 28 Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Devotional’s By Pastor Sherry Ritchie…...

The Anointing of God Scripture Reading “ Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.'” 1 Cor. 15:33 How does God provide restoration for an ultimate comeback? Although, we may not know everything, we do know something. God restores the inward person before the outward person. Lets take a look at Samson. Samson had all of the outward characteristics of a hero and leader. He stared his career spectacularly and regularly humiliated his enemies, the Philistines. He made mockery of their best warriors and most elaborate plots to entrap him. Yet, from God's viewpoint, Samson was outwardly strong, but inwardly weak. Outward strength wasn't enough; He wanted to restore Samson's inward man. Samson's weakness of character betrayed his God-given gift and derailed his spiritual calling. He dismissed God's warnings and freely crossed boundaries of safety and propriety. When Delilah betrayed him and cut off the seven locks of his long hair, it caused him to fall into the cruel hands of his enemies. By some accounts, Delilah means “delicate.” I should add, “delicate, but dangerous.” Samson was a he-man with a she-weakness. A man's strong hands could not bring him down, but the “weak” hands of a woman trapped him. When your outward talent is greater than your inward character, there is often a crash. Samson's crash was spectacular, but so was his restoration. We lean from his story that God restores the “inward man” before there is outward evidence. his goes for you too! Your ultimate comeback begins inwardly before evidence is seen outwardly. Character is essential to living a successful life. The anointing of God can take you where you need to be, but your character will be what keeps you there. God is waiting for you to offer him everything—not just your problems. He wants to give you His best. The Ultimate Comeback Devotional Tommy Tenney (God Chasers Network

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

P R A Y E R

Lord, I want to live a righteous life with a clear conscience. I ask that You do an internal work in me. Lord, I know that I need Your anointing, but I have to know what to do with it. Lord, help me work on my lifestyle so I can become a person of true character. AMEN

This time of year is so precious to me. As a child it was such a happy time for me and my family. Being a family with 8 children...my mother would make our Christmas time special. I can never remember a Christmas that anyone got upset or was unthankful for anything we received. Times are a bit different today.

The world thinks that the value of something because of it's size and price tag is worth more. Whether it be a certain type of car, or diamond you wear.. because of it's size or the amount of money you paid for it....can lose it's meaning quickly once you have it. The thirst to be excepted, to be noticed, to be in the clique, to follow after the neighbors…..young and old alike.

It is the small things that you do for one another that are so much more meaningful and of great value. Helping someone, spending time with someone that is lonely, calling someone on the phone, making cookies and taking them to the elderly, or someone that is very sick.

When God robed Himself in flesh and was born through Mary, He was not robed in kingly garb to be noticed but grew up as a common person learning the trade of a carpenter. Until it was the time and season to be known in whom He truly was. And His purpose to save a lost and dying world.

As Elders, Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers, Leaders in all areas of ministry in the church we must not lose our focus and the vision that God has prepared for you and I. Gods purpose and mission for our lives is to allow Him to freely flow through each one of us each and every day for the time is short and there is much to do. Be careful that the situations of crisis, or burdens do not overcome you. Do not be discouraged or dismayed!

Push forward..in Ezekiel 3:8-10 8 Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads. 9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. 10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears. He came as a small infant unto this world and in due time would seek and save that which was lost!

Matthew 1 and 2

The story of Jesus' birth 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. 24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: 25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. The wise men from the East are directed to Jesus' birthplace by a star 1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. 12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

We are a unique organization as our goal is to allow God to be the true head of the church, allowing the Holy Ghost the freedom to operate in our lives as well as the assembly of the church. Doing away with all the man made doctrines that have polluted the church, and destroyed untold numbers of hungry souls. If doctrine cannot be backed up with the entire Bible it is man made. If it is biblically sound doctrine the entire Bible will support it.

This Too Shall Pass Ministry Pastor Sherry Ritchie thistooshallpass.spruz.com Our ministry is all about Jesus and His love for each one of us. Encouraging and lifting each other up as we walk through the valleys, and the mountain tops in our life. We want to follow after the heartbeat of God. His will for us to walk daily in His Word and fulfil the "Great Commission". And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)
