PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
As a result of the enhanced relationship between the financial district and Scouting through Trading Tech 300, the LaSalle Street Trading Tech Awards raised 200% more revenue over 2015. • 217 Scouts served • 277 Merit badges earned • 21 New merit badge counselors • Participants primarily from underserved areas of the city of Chicago • Several unsolicited parent emails praising the program after each clinic • Kept kids safe 11 days they had off from school • Established 8 new program partners composed of Chicago’s major financial industry players

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION
STEM in SCOUTING
Our new Diversity and Inclusion Department will work with charter partners to start units in economically challenged neighborhoods in the South and West sides of Chicago and in Northwest Indiana to give all young people the opportunity to join Scouting, regardless of their circumstances.
• Exploring Post 49 competed in the International Marine Advanced Technology Education ROV Competition • Post 2400 and Troop 209 are putting the final touches on research experiments they designed and built and are awaiting a launch date when their projects will be sent to the International Space Station
