Porcelain
•To protect the glazed surface of the products, stack them one by one without sliding, in a way that they will be stacked on top of each other at the contact points.
• It is recommended that the feet of the products should not come into direct contact with aluminum countertops and shelves. If there are aluminum countertops and shelves, it is advised to cover them with silicone coating.
• All Bonna Porcelain products, except those mentioned, are suitable for microwave use. Gilded, decaled, reactive with metal content, and porcelain with platinum content are not suitable for microwave use.
• Oven dishes, soufflés, and casseroles are suitable for oven use. They are heat-resistant up to a maximum of 220°C.
• When the products removed from the freezer or refrigerator reach room temperature, you can proceed with the heating process. As with all porcelain products, protect our items from sudden and high temperature differences.
• Our patterned, hand-decorated, and white products are suitable for use in the microwave oven.
• Check and ensure the quality of your cutlery set.
• Always wash Metal, Porcelain, and Glass products separately, both manually and in the dishwasher.Thiswill prevent metal particles from sticking to the surface of the porcelain products.
• While washing the surfaces of porcelain products, the use of metal scrubbers or metal tongs is not recommended.
• To remove stubborn residues from the surface of porcelain products, use a scrubbing pad and water. For stuck-on residues, you can clean with rubber scrapers, gloved hands, or a water spray.
• Do not hit the product against any surface to remove residues. Instead, follow the recommended cleaning methods to ensure the longevity and quality of your porcelain product.
• The hardness of your washing water can be very low. Have the manufacturer of your dishwasher check water hardness. Do not wash porcelain products with water under 4°dH. Adjust the required water hardness by contacting the manufacturer of your dishwasher.
• If the water hardness is higher than 6°dH, it is recommended to use salt. If it is lower than this degree, salt is not recommended. With water hardness level above 6°dH, adjust salt usage level according to the hardness ranges specified by the manufacturer of your dishwasher.” While soft water (0-3° dH) leads to corrosion (deterioration on the surface of the porcelain) problems, excessively hard water (6-10° dH) may leave residues that look like lime stains on the surface of porcelain products.”
• Using the dishwasher rinse aid and detergent in accordance with the dosing and programs determined by the dishwasher manufacturer will extend the lifespan of porcelain products. Excessive use can shorten the lifespan of porcelain products.
• Do not wash your products below 50°C and above 70°C. Do not use metal utensils like metal whisks with porcelain.
Wood
• Before using for the first time, scrub with saline water, wipe off in time, and leave to dry. For daily maintenance, it can be wiped with olive oil.
• The surface of the wooden board can be damaged when knocked with harder materials.
• Solid wood boards have natural surface textures; therefore, they may differ in their appearances.
• Avoid soaking the wooden board for too long. To prevent bacteria growth, wash and dry it in time.
• Vegetables, meat, fruit, and other food materials can be easily processed on the wooden board. However, avoid too much chopping of hard food materials such as bones to prevent the wooden board from being damaged.
• It is not advised to leave wooden products in damp places for a long time.
• Avoid exposing wood materials to the sun for a long time. Increased loss of moisture could lead to wood cracking.
• It is recommended to use a soft cloth when cleaning. Never use metal wire for cleaning.
• You can wipe the surface with olive oil to extend the useful life of wood products and remove knife traces.
Product Care Product Care
Cutlery
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) cutlery features a titanium coating with a vibrant color. This cutlery is dishwasher proof when taking into account our instructions. For colored-PVD cutlery (gold/rose), our care instructions are a little different than for standart stainless steel cutlery, to help you to keep your cutlery as vivid in color longer.
Carefully hand wash your cutlery before first use.
Handwashing remains preferable and is advised to maintain the shine. Avoid scouring pads, bleach detergents and the use of sodium. Rinse food residue promptly or wash your cutlery directly after using, prolonged exposure to salts and food acids causes damage. Don’t leave your cutlery soaking. After washing, dry straightaway with a soft cloth.
Dishwashing
Dishwashing is possible when taking into account the following instructions:
• When using the dishwasher, avoid aggressive detergents may damage your cutlery, use gentle detergents with a phosphate level below 3% and avoid sodium.
• We recommend to use dishwashing programs with a low temperature of 40ºC or less.
• Check if your dishwasher features an eco-friendly program, most of these programs offer a low temperature of 40ºC or less.
• Rinse food residue promptly before putting the pieces in the dishwasher, prolonged exposure to salts and food acids (e.g. mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard) causes damage.
• Do not wash your cutlery in contact with cutlery, knives or utensils of a lower steel quality as chemical reactions will mark the steel.
• Remove the pieces from the dishwasher when the cycle is finished and towel dry your cutlery to prevent spotting.
• Don’t leave your cutlery to cool. Remove any water spots with a soft cloth to keep its shine.

• Avoid using sharp ice or other hard objects to prevent damage.
• Minimize contact with extremely hot liquids to prevent deformation.
• Adhere to recommended usage temperatures.

Product Care
Solida
• Before first use, ensure that you thoroughly wash the items using warm soapy water and a sponge scourer.
• Whilst the product is dishwasher safe, to help prolong the life of the product, we recommend to hand wash with warm soapy water after every use.
• We recommend that immediately, or as soon as possible after use, the product should be hand washed to remove excess foodstuffs as they contain salts, acids and fats which may cause corrosion
• Once cleaned, the product should be dried immediately to avoid prolonged contact with water or moisture which can cause corrosion or rusting
Do Not
• Do not use the product over direct heat/flame
• Do not scrub the vintage steel surface or brass handle with an abrasive sponge
• Do not use industrial detergent on the vintage steel surface or brass handles
• Do not leave the product wet as permanent water may stain the surface
Please be aware the brass handles will naturally tarnish over a period of time
