THE SCHOOL DEVELOPING A NEW VISION
Having analyzed the existing assets, the condition and longevity of the existing buildings on site, the areas of redundancy and potential capacity were identified. The new strategy is explored through models. This masterplan is to be completed in 20 years time and it considers key academic buildings, arts, sports, access and parking.

HOUSE IN DALSTON LONDON REFURBISHMENT
THE DOCTOR´S HOUSE A D E S I G N F O R A Y O U N G F A M I LY
In the heart of the vibrant East London, this house is surrounded by an atmosphere of great cultural events, where the new tendencies are born. Being a strategic point where the new styles, sounds and food are tested ; the house of this couple needs to reflect this freshness and its contemporary vibes. We decide to remove the internal partitions on the ground floor and to refurbish the upper floor too. The new strategy is to create spaces with key elements. The staircase, the hall cupboard and the kitchen will be the protagonists at all time, originating new spaces more practical, compact and efficient.

A painted steel frame material is chosen for the stair. The steps, in timber panels, sit into metal trays fixed to the frame. The balaustrade is thought to be an important element to the space with the maximum simplicity and great rigidity.
