I spent three months in the «City of Angels» in South
California, where I used most of my free time exploring – and shooting. This set was shot on four locations very peculiar to L.A. and it‘s vast diversity. Hollywood Hills, Downtown LA, Grand Central Market & Union Station.

The aim was to capture the iconic display of the notorious
«Sin City», from the classical Fremont Street hotel rooms to the picturesque and spectacular resorts and attractions on the «Strip». August 2012, intense heat even in the early morning hours.

Shot in a modern industry complex near Bern, Switzerland.
The dresses were entirely made of H&M stockings and a good meter of tubular fabric. They were cut and fitted on location.

An old alpine hut in the Zurich mountains was the
backdrop for this set. Its classic interior and decoration served well to underline the intimate yet distant rustic feel of the final results.

The Californian coast has long been famous for being one of
the most scenic and picturesque rivieras in the world. Higher up, steep and rugged cliffs give way to a landscape of rolling hills, accessible via serpentine roads. For me, this combination is one of the most inspirational places I‘ve visited – and, as a landlocked Swiss, the ocean itself is reason enough to shoot along the shoreline.

Commissioned work for a young fashion
designer. Shot in a fin-de-siècle mansion of one of the biggest Swiss industrialists at the time. The «Villa Langmatt» is a museum for impressionist art and interiors.

Shot on 3500 m/14 500 ft above
sea level, this session explored the limits of the gear, the crew and the model, who all had to cope with temperatures down to -12 degrees Celsius.
