‘Mardi Gras for Homeless Children’ returns with a significant goal in mind
Over the last 29 years, the Northern Kentucky Restaurant Association has gathered local restaurants together on Mardi Gras with the goal to raise money for area homeless shelters. Their efforts have resulted in $1,850,000 raised for homeless children throughout Greater Cincinnati. This year they’re planning to cross that $2 million milestone, but they need your help. This annual event is not your typical fundraiser. There will be auctions, celebrity attendees and live music, much like a standard charity event. What separates ‘Mardi Gras for Homeless Children’ is attendees’ opportunity to sample dishes and drinks from over 50 of the top local food and drink purveyors, with the understanding that all proceeds go towards fighting the homeless epidemic in our city. The 29th annual culinary celebration will raise money for the Bethany House Services of Cincinnati, Brighton
Center’s Homeward Bound and the Welcome House of Northern Kentucky. Combined, these three shelters work to provide lodging, meals and more to over 7,000 greater Cincinnati residents. It is absolutely vital that we help support their admirable work. Presented by Mercedes Benz of Fort Mitchell and the Wyler Foundation, the 29th annual celebration will be held once again at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center on February 25th at 6:30 PM. Individual tickets sell for either $75 or $95, with upper tier tickets granting early entrance to the fundraiser at 5:30 PM. Group tables and sponsorships are also available by contacting the NKRA at (859) 291-6572. For more information, please visit their website mardigras2020.org and follow their Facebook https://www. facebook.com/MardiGrasforHomelessChildren/ for daily updates.

Bockfest returns in February!
Celebrate at Mecklenburg Gardens
C
ome to Mecklenburg Gardens Restaurant on February 7th in the BierHall, where Mecklenburg’s will be sponsoring one of the Bockfest Sausage Queen Preliminary Round Competitions. The festivities will start with a keg tapping of some Bock beer and the Sausage Queen competition will follow! The event winner will go on to represent Mecklenburg Gardens Restaurant at Bockfest on the 29th of February at Bockfest Hall. Last year’s Sausage Queen winner at Mecklenburg Gardens, Jaclyn Cox, went on to win the finals at Bockfest Hall. Jacklyn has been a super Sausage Queen, and has attended almost all of the German festivals and events. Mecklenburg Gardens Restaurant will also switch over 6 out of 20 of their tap handles to tasty Bock! Bock beer is a bottom fermenting lager beer that ferments a little longer throughout the winter. Bock beer is typically stronger, with a more robust malty flavor. It is said that the religious munks drank mostly Bock beer while fasting during Lent. Celebrate the Coming of Spring, Over-theRhine’s brewing heritage, and Bock beer at the largest Bockfest in the United States. Bockfest takes place February 28 - March 1, 2020.

TruSculpt 3D See the Results!
TruSculpt 3D is an innovative RF (Radio Frequency) device that gives the skin deep heat. This causes the fat cells to die, thus creating a non-invasive fat reduction, body sculpting/contouring treatment. The process can temporally reduce the appearance of cellulite. It is designed to treat almost any area of the body. Typical areas include the abdomen, flanks, thighs, buttocks, arms and other stubborn regions where fat lingers. TruSculpt 3D is comfortable and requires no anesthetic. It is virtually pain free. Most patients describe the treatment as a hot stone massage and others report almost no sensation of heat at all. During a typical treatment, a small hand piece releases radiofrequency energy. This is placed over the targeted area and a small surrounding area. The energy causes fat cells to heat up and programs them to liquefy and be removed through the lymphatics after dying. The energy released from the heat from the TruSculpt 3D also causes skin contraction for a slimming and smoothing effect on the skin. There is no downtime with this treatment, allowing immediate return to normal activity. Patients see significant improvement approximately 8 weeks following one TruSculpt 3D treatment and full results up to 3 months after. Additional sessions may be required to obtain desired results if more than usual results are expected.
Now offering TruSculpt 3D. Non-invasive fat reduction. *GUARANTEED results.
