Creating inspiration destinations on the East Side and the West End

DC Fine Art is expanding! Our recent move to O’Bryonville (ADC East) and our soon-to-open expansion into the West End of Cincinnati (ADC West) will provide us with a combined 18,000 SQFT and establish ADC nationally as a mega-gallery, and we will be the largest gallery in Cincinnati. Our West End location (just blocks from the new FC Cincinnati stadium) will be 13,000 SQFT, and include an art gallery, design showroom, artist studio, framing facility, conceptual art space, and a large co-working environment. Renovations are almost complete, and we’ll be moving in soon! You can see images from the construction on our website at adcfineart.com. Multiple locations allow us to serve our residential and commercial clients better than ever. The retail space in O’Bryonville is right in the heart of the

residential area and just steps away from the many boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants making it a perfect hub for our growing residential clientele. This comes at a time when many brickand-mortar galleries are making the decision to downsize, take their presence online or even close their doors. Litsa Spanos, ADC’s president says, “We do recognize just how remarkable this expansion is for us and our community. We’ve built strong relationships for twenty-seven years by helping both commercial and residential clients renovate and refresh their spaces with art. Doing it on an even larger scale is very exciting as we continue to set ourselves apart.” Stop in to see us at our OBryonville gallery at 2124 Madison Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45208, and follow us on all social media channels to keep up-to-date with our ADC West grand opening. Tips for a healthy summer

T

ake care of your body this summer.

• Always apply sunscreen It is important to use a sunscreen lotion of at least SPF 30 in order to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. For sensitive skin, a mineral-based sunscreen is best. Don’t sit in the sun in peak hours between 10 AM and 4 PM in order to minimize UV radiation. If you are planning to be out in the sun for a long period of time, reapply sunscreen every 2 to 3 hours. • Drink plenty of water During the hot summer months, heat and sweat can leave your body dehydrated. A lack of water is harmful to your body and can also make you crave food when you’re not actually hungry. It is incredibly important to keep yourself hydrated by drinking at least 8 to 9 glasses of water a day. Bored of water?. Add some low calorific flavoring to water such as a piece of fruit, or opt for healthy alternatives like green tea or coconut water. • Beware of “healthy” smoothies Fruit smoothies are a great way to get your five a day and keep refreshed throughout the summer. Watch out for smoothies made with frozen yogurt or ice cream as they can be extremely calorific. A healthy smoothie should be made with fruit, juice, low-fat yogurt and ice. Use any fruit you might have, either fresh, or from the freezer, and throw it all in a blender to make a perfect summer drink. David B. Schwartz, MD Obstetrics & Gynecology Cincinnati-Obgyn.com

Travel safety and fitness, let’s go!

I

t is Vacation time finally and we are traveling!! People all over the globe are so ready for a vacation now that the bans are lifting! The global mindset is “live life to the fullest, because you never know what tomorrow will bring.” Travelers want to be where they can eat, drink, laugh and play without the restrictions. Across the Caribbean and Mexico, luxury resorts are opening now and scheduling their re-open dates for July. Each destination airport has their own protocol from taking temperatures upon arrival to giving everyone a COVID test. That is good news for travelers knowing that they are healthy and so are all the other guests. Each hotel has their own protocol for safety, health, and hygiene which has always been a top priority, but new protocols further elevate the standards of quality and cleanliness. Because health and healthy practices are on everyone’s mind now, fitness and wellness programming will be a main ingredient to the perfect holiday. Pricing is at an all-time low as well and it is well documented that the enjoyment of a trip starts way before the holiday begins.
