Holidays on the Farm returns
T
he winter holidays are upon us, and with them comes excitement and anticipation, building with each passing day. We look forward to great parties, delicious food and more time with friends and family. On the other hand, having so much to do, it’s also easy to be pulled in too many different directions, with shopping lists, traffic, not enough time and too much stress. Great Parks has the answer. Holidays on the Farm at Parky’s Farm, with its uniquely nostalgic setting, offers a welcome escape from the rush of the season. Visitors will make new memories together outdoors and be reminded of the bonds we share with each other and nature even as the temperature drops. Guests can relax on the lighted trail or hay wagon rides amidst more than 100,000 twinkling LED lights. Warm firepits beckon throughout the farm, with live holiday music drifting under the stars. A popular beer garden adds to the cheer. Children and adults of all ages will enjoy meeting reindeer and farm animals, watching traditional holiday favorites on an outdoor big screen, visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and even trying their skill at the game of curling. Holidays on the Farm is open from 5-9 p.m. on the following dates: • November 24-December 17, Fridays-Sundays, • December 21-23, • December 26-31. Purchase tickets in advance online for $15 at greatparks.org or for $17 at the gate. Children 2 years and younger enter at no charge. As Great Parks offers this and more new four-season friendly experiences, Holidays on the Farm is fast becoming a favorite outdoor fixture among Greater Cincinnati’s holiday traditions.
