On behalf of the City of Cincinnati, I am honored to invite you to our great city. Cincinnati has invested billions of dollars in recent downtown and riverfront development, including the historic Over-theRhine neighborhood and The Banks entertainment district. Autumn is an especially great time to visit Cincinnati. In addition to watching the leaves change color in our award-winning park system, Cincinnati is host to several festivals at this time of the year including Oktoberfest Zinzinnati at The Banks, the Chrysanthemum show at Krohn Conservatory, and the Cincinnati Chocolate Festival at Xavier University. Key Magazine Cincinnati is a great resource for learning about the many attractions Cincinnati has to offer. With world-class museums and theaters, one of the top five zoos in the nation, touring Broadway productions, and incredible architecture, Cincinnati has something for everyone to enjoy. I am confident you will enjoy your stay in Cincinnati. Please enjoy our hospitality, sample our many amenities, and have a wonderful time. We are glad you’re here! Sincerely,
John Cranley Mayor, City of Cincinnati

Cover Story
Family fun can’t be beat with the Cincinnati Cyclones
S
ince 1990, the Cincinnati Cyclones have been playing hockey all over the country and in Canada; they are the AA team of the National Nashville Predators. Eighteen of their players have gone on to play for the NHL, which makes our Cyclones a hotbed of talent that’s exciting to watch. And there’s more to a Cyclones game than just hockey; in fact, they pride themselves on being “More Than Just A Game.” With music, promotions and fun half-time intermission activities (think hamster balls and sumo suits!), a Cyclones game offers something for everyone in the family – at a price that’s surprisingly affordable. Games often feature a fun theme, such as Princess Night, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Night and the everpopular Star Wars Night, and promotions include $1 beer night, $1 hot dog night, kids eat free and more. For the 2016-2017 season, the Cyclones promotional schedule will include such marquee
events as First Face-Off, Throwback Night, Ugly Christmas Sweater Blanket Night, New Year’s Eve, Cyclones Fight Cancer Night, Kids Matinee Game, Wiener Dog Races, and Fan Appreciation Weekend. First Face-Off, Throwback Night and Fan Appreciation Weekend are some of the more popular events on the Cyclones’ schedule, and will feature dollar beer, soda, hot dogs and pizza. In addition, Throwback night will also include the ever-popular Teddy Bear Toss and tickets to that game are just $10. This season will also see the return of the Kids’ Matinee Game; this activity lets Cyclones Kids Club members paint the ice following the Sunday matinee. The Cyclones have brought back Wiener Dog Races to this year’s promo schedule as well, and that night will see the return of the popular Dachshund Dash during one of the intermissions. Don’t miss out on all the fun – get to a Cyclones game and be a part of the excitement!
