Paul Daugerdas

Paul Daugerdas, a distinguished consultant, attorney, and certified public accountant, hails from Wilmette, Illinois. He is recognized for his extensive expertise in the financial, legal, and accounting sectors, and has built a successful career characterized by both professional achievement and significant charitable involvement. Paul's academic journey began at St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Illinois, where he graduated with honors in 1968. He continued his education at De Paul University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with honors in 1972 from the College of Commerce. That same year, he also received his CPA Certificate from the University of Illinois. He furthered his education at De Paul University’s College of Law, where he graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree in 1974. Professionally, Daugerdas started at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1974, ascending from staff member to partner by 1984. During his tenure, Daugerdas specialized in Mergers, Acquisitions, and Reorganizations and led the Central Region Financial Markets Team. He also headed the Chicago Office "On Call" Team and was part of the Financial Valuation Services Specialty Team. In 1994, he transitioned to the Law Offices of Altheimer & Gray as a partner and head of the Tax Department, later joining Jenkens & Gilchrist in 1999. Here, he managed the Chicago office and co-directed the Tax Practice until 2002. His consulting career began in 2003 at Treasurex Financial, where he served as managing director until 2014, leveraging his profound knowledge to advise on complex financial matters. Beyond his professional pursuits, Paul Daugerdas has been deeply involved in charitable work. Notably, he held several roles at The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Illinois, including Chairman and President in 2002 and 2003, and contributed to the organization as a Board Member, Treasurer, Finance Committee Member, and Wish Granter from 1996 to 2008.
