We were asked to carry out a project with the freedom to choose between three pieces of land. Among the pieces of land there was a parking lot for a funeral chapels; the Music Park, which pays homage to great musicians and influential compos-
ers in the city and also there was a wasteland. The three lands are in the center of Monterrey, which has a high historical value, and most of the people living there are seniors. In order to determine the architectural program we went to the field
to actually see what were the conditions of it. In our visits we interviewed people from the town, and they told us what it meant to them the Music Park.

Contrary to the information found on the internet, the neighbors shared with us that formerly in the afternoon with the help of a horn they put music to commemorate the Music Park and in this way the park became a very important symbol in their lives. Finally, our concept attempts to rescue the spirit of the place, reminding the people the true meaning of the park. So, our building becomes a “horn so that music can reach the park and remind people the essence of the park.

We were requested to carry out a Museum of Sculpture, located within one of the busiest areas of the municipality of San Pedro Garza Garcia. Before designing the museum, I wanted to understand which
qualities the museum should have, so that it could fulfill its purpose. After interviewing experts in the matter, I came to realize that the space should served as a place where you can appreciate the art and not visualy compete against the
sculptures. This led me to investigate the theory of phenomenology and thus apply this philosophy in the museum.

Only 3 out of 10 companies in Mexico have the ideal conditions to work together, because of the high levels of stress within the workspaces occasioned mainly by “sick buildings”. To counter these statistics, I proposed a design attached to four different items proposed by Daniel Stokols who is an (environmental psychologist )at the UC. 1. The physical layout of the im mediate work area: • existence of windows, especially if you have views of green spaces. 2. The environmental characteristics of the work area: • Physical aspects such as lighting, air quality, noise levels and social density. 3. Physical organization of buildings that give place to a given workplace: • Shared public spaces, integrity of the vertical cores with horizontal circulations. 4. External services and urban characteristics of the installations • The urban layout of the building.

I Firmly believe in the influence of architecture on human beings due to the fact that spaces have the power to determine our behavior to a certain point due to environmental psychology, and it’s for this same reason that I consider architecture as one of the major disciplines in our society.

This park was aimed exclusively at students from different universities in the metropolitan area of Monterrey. During the ceremony, which was attended by the mayor and all of the participants, I had the opportunity to give a speech on the importance of public space.
What became the real challenge of design was to optimize financial resources, since there was a limited budget. The authorities gave us a list of needs that the neighbors had given them.

agrovita,
thesis
The agricultural sector has not yet evolutionized accordingly with the current advances in technology of our century. Climate change, demographics and economics have influenced the ratio of people living in urban and rural areas. There is a notable gap between these two, as the years pass by, urban areas have become more dense. According to FAO (2009), by 2050, only 30% of the world population will be living in rural areas. This factor reduces the amount of people available and willing to work in agricultural related jobs.
32
Agriculture is an outdated sector compared to other industrial sectors that have been modernizing impressively. Nevertheless, this sector must take advantage of the technological advances and use it to be able to satisfy the needs of the population. Even though some advances have been made in developed countries, the lack of agricultural land and the diminishing job opportunities have diminished. This project suggests a new model where architecture influences and is involved directly with the process of recollection that takes
place in the citrus fields. Our architectural project consists of a mobile work space that makes more efficient this process. Agrovita is situated in a hypothetical scenario in 2050 inferred after studying the current tendencies in the agricultural sector in MĂŠxico and specifically in Ciudad Valles San Luis PotosĂ in Huerta Flor de MarĂa where our project takes place. The new model we propose is decentralized with means that the product that is recollected here actually stays in Ciudad Valles.

Agrovita is design after the principal of “architecture as a productive processâ€? where the objective is to make more efficient and optimize the mobility in the citrus field. This can be possible with the machines that work along with supervisors in order to control the process that takes place in Huerta Flor de MarĂa during recollection. Architecture as a productive process is defined as architecture that has characteristics with contribute to optimize processes, it is dynamic, interactive, optimal, uses innovative technology and is sensible to natural processes. It functions as a link between the current situation in the agricultural sector, which has not yet been completely modernized and the technological advances in urbanized and modernized cities.

Agrovita focuses specifically in improving mobility inside the terrain to improve the production, as well as the new decentralized model proposed. The concept is based in improving recollection time with new automatized technology. Also, the supervisors can have direct contact with the products and observe details from their mobile work space.

migration from rural to urbanized areas. Since less people will be willing to work in this sector, these jobs will have to be substituted by machines, however, not completely. At least two supervisors are required, one in charge of the products and the other person focused on the mechanical aspects like programing and engineering.
Agrovita is a new working model which optimizes the number of people working in the fields as well due to the constant factor of

The reques for the class was design a furniture piece with two diffrent materials and after that build it in the diffrent workshops of the CRGS. I choose the metal for the structure , because of his structural characteristics that allow me to do more with less. On the other side, I choose the fabric to be confortable for the user and be in armony with the surronding.

by taking into account their ideas, beliefs, and lifestyles in order to better achieve their expectations for each project. In relation to the Design component, I utilized various tools that reinforced the use of a visual
connection between the exterior and the interior life. So, I decided to choose a color and material palette that fulfills that connection, yet maintains that elegant sensation of the Sofia building architecture.

debutantes restaurant The concept of the restaurant tries to recreate the regional culinary art by giving the patrons the opportunity to learn to prepare their own dishes next to one of the most representative chef’s in town. So,
the inspiration includes a central kitchen where the clients can learn to prepare their favorite meals as well as they enjoy a night for dinner and drinks. So part of the intention was to stand out the kitchen by utilizA

The idea was to design two residences for two important educators. The distribution of the floor plan is based on the privacy for each tenant. Both spaces are joined through a hallway which is considered the heart of the project. Its purpose is to give the users a great time while they share the common space, and make them not to forget the life in community even If they enjoy their own privacy.
