Annunciation (uh-nuhn-see-AY-shuhn) The Angel Gabriel’s announcement of the Incarnation to Mary at Nazareth. At Mary’s consent, the Son of God became man in her through the power of the Holy Spirit. The feast of the Annunciation is March 25, nine months before Christmas. See Incarnation
