My Jewish Friend is a wonderful book for young people (and their parents and teachers) to read. Not only does it introduce Judaism to Catholics, it also illuminates Catholicism for Jews. In My Jewish Friend Chris and David share their understanding of Catholicism and Judaism. Christopher and David have a lot in common. After all, they've been friends since grade school! David is making his bar mitzvah and Chris will soon be preparing for Confirmation. Each of the boys is learning about the faith and religious convictions of the other.
