Day 1 A dog saw a foot rag near the door and thought it would make for a good bed. He threw away the sack that he was using as bed and replaced it with the foot rag. The cat saw the sack, threw away the hamper he was using as bed, and replaced it with the sack.

Day 1 The hen saw the hamper. She threw away the nest she was using as bed and replaced it with the hamper. The rabbit saw the nest and threw away the box he was using as bed, and replaced it with the nest. A man saw the box, threw it at the dog, and put the rag back in its place.

(Ecl 3:1, 6)

Thus, Uncle says, “A place for everything minimizes searching.” There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens… a time to keep, and a time to cast away. (Eccl 3:1, 6)

Day 2 A dog was in search of food in the forest one evening. After a while, he heard the noise of explosion and when he looked around, he saw that the forest was on fire. He ran away until he got to the river. He ran up toward the town, but the fire was coming from that direction. He went down to the riverbank, but the fire was moving in that direction. The wind was blowing toward him and very soon the fire would reach him.

ay 2 Day He thought of swimming across the river but it was too dark that he couldn’t make out the opposite bank. He had no way of knowing how wide the river was and whether he would be able to swim across. But with the fire behind him, he had no choice but to try swimming to the other side. With steady strokes, he swam through the darkness until his feet finally touched the sands of the other shore.

(Lc 1:37)

Thus, Uncle says, “Where there’s effort, there will be hope.” Nothing will be impossible with God." (Lk 1:37)
