BBC RADIO 1 EXCLUSIVE: KÖLSCH DROPS TWO HUGE REMIXES FOR ERIC PRYDZ AND JORIS VOORN [www.getinpr.com] Just weeks ahead of the release of ‘1983’, his highly anticipated second studio album, house maestro Kölsch drops two intense new remixes, both of which saw the light of day last Friday in a massive double world premiere exclusively on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 Essential Selection show. The music industry’s most celebrated tastemaker and a huge fan of the half Danish, half Irish producer, Tong immersed his global audience first in Kölsch’s remix of Eric Prydz’s ‘Generate’, before delving straight into another monster, his take on Joris Voorn’s ‘The Monk’, out today on Beatport and available to stream now exclusively via THUMP. STREAM 'ERIC PRYDZ - GENERATE (KÖLSCH REMIX)' ON SOUNDCLOUD STREAM 'JORIS VOORN - THE MONK (KÖLSCH REMIX)' VIA THUMP BUY 'JORIS VOORN - THE MONK (KÖLSCH REMIX)' ON BEATPORT It’s no secret that Voorn and Kölsch have an extremely close friendship, the latter joining the GREEN head honcho at Paradiso earlier this year for Voorn’s official birthday celebrations. Taken from his 2014 album ‘Nobody Knows’, ‘The Monk’ is an exquisite, delicate, sweeping work of art that Kölsch recrafts by concentrating on the more active areas of the single. Bringing the pulsating percussive and synth elements to the fore, he allows the track to move differently, in a new dynamic, as much more of a club instrument than the original. The result is a remix that holds true to the grace and elegance of Voorn’s production but redefines itself with the dance floor firmly in mind. The only producer this time round to have been tasked with the job of taking on one of electronica’s greatest, Kölsch’s remix of Prydz’s ‘Generate’ is an absolute masterclass in the art of tantalization. Subtle, elegant and masterfully drawn out, Kölsch dims the vocal top line, eliminating the sultry pop elements of Prydz’s cut and seducing it down into the darker depths of peak-time, eyes-closed euphoria. Another example of his ability to tease and weave layers of emotive composition, he gradually eases us towards that elusive point where the dance floor loses its identity, transported en mass to areas of natural ecstasy purely through the power of music. As the “producers’ producer” readies himself for a two week tour of Australia beginning June 4th, the imminent release of ‘1983’, a string of dates at Ushuaia in Ibiza and across the international festival circuit, fans of Kölsch will have plenty to get their teeth into over the summer months, starting with these two exceptional remixes. Tour Dates: 5/23 – Lost Village – UK 5/25 – Movement – Detroit, MI 5/28 – Coco – Madrid, Spain 5/30 – Ushuaia Opening – Ibiza 5/31 – Life Festival – Mullingar, Ireland 6/21 – Kompakt Open Air – Barcelona, Spain 6/28 – Awakenings Festival – Amsterdam, Netherlands 7/4 – Love Family Park – Frankfurt, Germany 7/10 – Exit Festival – Novi Sad, Serbia 7/11 – Parc Floral – Paris, France 7/12 – Kappa Future Festival – Torino, Italy 7/13 – Big Festival – Biarritz, France 7/26 – Marrakech – Rabat, Malta 8/6 – Loveland Festival – Amsterdam, Netherlands 8/29 – SW4 Festival – London, UK 8/29 – Creamfields – Potternewton, UK

Robert Babicz Fading Hearts / Destiny Disrupted (Bedrock) 1. Fading Hearts 2. Destiny Disrupted (Bedrock) BEDDIGI62 Release: 18th May 12015 Robert Babicz is a man on a mission, the Cologne based producer stands tall as one of only a handful of distinctive artists who are bold enough to breathe life into their productions with true emotion. His creations display a level of honesty and soul that sets them apart from so much of today’s here-today-gone-tomorrow disposable music - the mark of a true musical innovator. Here, he returns to Bedrock and reveals his talent and skill as one of Europe's most essential techno producers, with two stunning tracks for the summer season. The wonderfully deep, wobbly throb of “Fading Hearts” is a masterclass in dub-inflected hip-swinging goodness. Overlaid with gorgeous, subtle melodic flourishes, its angelic beauty is a true wonder to behold. Meanwhile, “Density Disrupted” turns up the darkness factor, shifts proceedings up a gear and gets suitably twisted in supreme style, showing another side to Babicz’s seemingly infinite creative palette. Robert Babicz moved to Germany from his native Poland in 1980 and began making dance music in the early 1990s, when acid house was at its peak of popularity. His career has thus already spanned more than two decades and it is evidently clear from the music that he creates, that he has devoted his life to his craft. A much-respected connoisseur of sound design and production, his services as a mastering engineer are in demand all over the world. He is also well known as an exciting live performer, utilizing a host of synths and live equipment to enhance the improvisation in every set he plays. But Babicz's art is comprised of more than just his music. He films everything, later editing the images together as a visual accompaniment to his audio. His short films capture the emotions, colours and feel of his trips and, in turn, these then also have an effect on his music, colouring his emotive, unique take on electronica with a very human feel. If you like what you hear and want to dig a little deeper into the Bedrock back catalogue to check out Robert Babicz’s previous adventures on the label, you could start with 2010’s “Pink Trees”, his remix of Pete Heller’s “Nu Acid”, the stupendous “Welcome To The 90’s” from Bedrock 12, “Eastside” from Bedrock 14, “Rabbit Clouds” from the Underground Sound Of Miami Series 3, and his huge “Rave Angel”. Chus & Ceballos release “Abisinia” The first single off their debut artist album Nómadas, releasing in September 2015. Madrid, June 8th, 2015 - The DJ duo Chus + Ceballos will launch their debut artist album, Nómadas, in September of this year. The success of their productions over the past 15 years, combined with the remarkable progress of their Stereo Productions label and participation at the iconic Burning Man (a primary source of their inspiration) has pushed the pair to finish the project that has long been on their radar: a conceptual, authentic record with quality music. The first single from the album is “Abisinia feat. GiGi,” a studio collaboration with Italian producer Leonardo Gonnelli, with whom they previously worked on last year’s “Soledad.” Teeming with hypnotic synths and ethereal, shamanic vocals of ancient origins, the single is an excursion into the deepest end of the sound spectrum, buoyed by a modern sensibility. Strongly influenced by GiGi’s motherland of Ethiopia, the sonic walkabout will keep the crowd locked into a meditative groove on the dancefloor. “Abisinia” will be released on June 8th, along with a powerful remix by famous Spanish DJ-producer UNER. Accompanying “Abisinia” is its music video, which evokes the albums’ nomadic essence by tapping into viewers’ primitive tendencies through mystic imagery. Filmed in Ibiza with the mysterious Isla Es Vedrá in the background, the video channels the unique energies that can only be found in magical areas such as the Balearic Islands. Known for their trademark Iberican sound – a hypnotic blend of warm and inviting tribal soundscapes laced with modern tech elements – Chus + Ceballos have figured out the formula that easily satisfies every punter within the clubbing collective. But it is not only the starry-eyed clubbers that worship at the altar of Chus + Ceballos; the world’s most celebrated DJs sing their praises and rely on this duo to fill their box with some of the most essential late-night g LINKS// http://www.chusceballos.com/ https://www.facebook.com/chusceballos https://twitter.com/chusceballos https://soundcloud.com/chusceballos For Additional Information please contact Ro at Jukebox PR Email // ro@jukeboxpr.co.uk Telephone // +447973218861

There is no other dance music act in history that captured the ‘Rave Scene’s vibrant hedonistic chaotic mentalness quite like these guys, kitted out in their distinct trend setting eye catching gas mask and boiler suit outfits, that literally sparked a rave craze revolution in clubbing ware and style!! Every Rave you went to and club you’d see the weekend faithful sweating it out in their own boiler suited creation and homemade painted gas masks with the trademark A plastered all over it and them thinking they were the dogs bxxxxx haha. This was a bright new electronic horizon a new era to be part of something so musically and socially revolutionary, like nothing else in history had before it, bringing people of all races, creeds, classes and colour together to go beyond what was classed as socially accepted or socially expected, and the madder, crazier, luminous more fucxxxd up the better, what a time for these lads to emerge onto the scene and take it by the reins and throttle it into the ionosphere. As an enthusiastic child of the beats in the early days of ‘Rave’, I can still remember my first time seeing Altern-8 on ‘Top of Pops’ banging out ‘Activ-8 Come with me’ and ‘E-vapor-8’ it was insane and I loved it!! This was a time when what was in the charts wasn’t separate from the underground scene as it is today. It was quite socially acceptable to listen to banging dance tunes on the tele and then bang on your latest mix tape without it sounding like you had just stuck on the wombles or the sound of music. It was about the music the energy the vibes the ecstatic thrill of being part of a unifying sound that the likes of Altern-8 were fuelling into their tunes and ramping up the collective frequency. 23 years later Keith McGovern (Zone Photographer) and myself get the chance to liter-8-ly chew the fat with the lads backstage and on stage at the Psyclone Zone gig in the Tivoli Dublin in May…Top one nice get sorted…. Now its time for Altern-8……
