Move a OneNote notebook to OneDrive & SharePoint
4. Select the folder location in OneDrive/ SharePoint where you want to move the notebook to.
If you plan to share a OneNote notebook with others, it is recommended that the notebook is created in OneDrive/SharePoint. However, you can move a notebook to OneDrive/SharePoint after you’ve created it on your computer or laptop.
Move the notebook 1. In OneNote, open the notebook that you want to share in OneDrive/SharePoint. 2. Choose File > Share. 5. Enter a name for your notebook or keep its current name and then select Move.
3. Select a location for your notebook, either OneDrive or SharePoint.
6. OneNote moves the notebook from your computer/laptop to OneDrive/SharePoint, and confirms the move with the message: “Your notebook is now syncing to the new location.” 7. After a notebook is in OneDrive/SharePoint, you can share it with others through OneNote 2016, File > Info > Invite People to this notebook. This will let you send an email with a link to your shared notebook to your chosen people.
