Are my documents safe in Delve? Yes, your documents are safe.
Delve is simply a search tool for finding everything that you have access to in Office 365. What you see in Delve is different from what others see. You can see your documents, which you have access to. While others can see their documents, which they have access to. Other staff cannot see what you’re doing, such as what documents you’ve read, what emails you’ve sent and received or what Teams conversations you’ve been in. Only those who have access to the same document as you can see that you’ve modified that document. Documents are not stored in Delve and it never changes any permissions. If you would like to change permissions on your document, you can do this from where it is stored, such as OneDrive for Business or SharePoint. You can find more tips, tricks and quick wins on the Office 365 Learning and Support page.
