March 2010 Wow. Back from leave at the beginning of January and the (work) pressure has been on ever since. That means the pickings for this quarter are a bit slim. Try this mantra then; less is more. ‘kay? All of the images in these quarterly PDFs are available as high quality unframed prints, on archival, exhibition grade papers ranging from A4 to A2 sizes. All prints have an (approximately) 25mm unprinted white border. Other print sizes and margins are available on request. Discarded bra, Gardens, Cape Town. Initially, I didn’t understand why a bra had been abandoned on the grass in this local park until under a nearby bush, I saw the next item; a carelessly tossed CD sleeve and the connection was made...
...the unsaleable and unwanted leftovers of a housebreaking – likely at the hands of the city’s drug–dependent Bergies (poor coloured folk who live (usually) outdoors on the slopes of Table Mountain), who steal to feed their dependencies.
