JACK MASON Is the joint promoter of BCMMA, his main responsibility comes in the form of match-making the event, booking the stars of the show from the best local, national and European talent and ensuring they are well looked after through weigh in to fight night. Jack is also responsible for liaising with Safe MMA and the UKMMAF bodies, booking the best independent referees, hand-wrappers, cuts-men and judges available to ensure the safety of all the athletes that compete on the show and making sure the show runs smoothly for all involved. Jack is also a professional fighter himself having amassed close to 50 professional fights, fought all over the world for shows such as Bellator and Cage Warriors and has cornered many UFC fighters so knows how the fighters like to be treated. Jack’s ambition with BCMMA is to make it the best grassroots show in the UK, put on the most exciting fights possible and provide a platform for all the up and coming local talent to grow, learn and compete in a safe and competitive environment.”
CHRIS COOK Founded BCMMA back in 2012 with the goal to provide a platform for all the up and coming emerging talent in the East Anglia area. Through years of hard work and perseverance alongside Jack Mason BCMMA is

coverage and exposure as possible! Not only is this good for the fighters, it also means the audience get to discover new and exciting fighters to support."
CRAIG POWELL
PAUL STAFFORD
Craig is joint owner/promoter of BCMMA with Jack Mason. Craig bought into the business in 2016 and his main role is to inject new ideas and ways of taking the show forward with his wealth of business knowledge. Craig has a big passion for turning talented and exciting MMA fighters into stars, whilst building the brand.
Paul or ‘Staffy’ is the third and newest member of the BCMMA Team. Also joining in 2016 after originally designing and developing the new website, using his vast experience in design, marketing, social media - will head up pushing the relaunched BCMMA machine to become one of the Top UK Shows.
Craig is actually a former "Pop Star" and was frontman of the group 'Uniting Nations' which saw him at the top of the charts across the world. He was on Radio 1, Top of the pops and sang at many Party in the Parks in front of audiences of up to 65 thousand people. He is now a professional MMA fighter who also owns an MMA gym called The Den Fight Centre, he property develops and still regularly performs at gigs all over the country.
Staffy also has a keen interest in Martial Arts, being an instructor at his Muay Thai Academy. Teaching and training fighters of all ages to keep fit and to fight as amateurs and professionals all over the UK & Europe. So he obviously loves the ‘Standup’ game in MMA, as it compliments the style of Muay Thai which focuses on both striking and clinching techniques. The eight points of contact in Muay Thai include punches, elbows, knee strikes and kicks. There are several types of clinches used, including arm clinch, side clinch and low clinch. Many MMA fighters train in Muay Thai because the style teaches fighters how to throw elbow and knee strikes with enough force to cut or even knock out their opponent while in close proximity (like the clinch). Really looking forward to helping to take MMA to the next level within the UK!!
He stated "BCMMA is already one of the top UK shows, I strongly believe Jack & I are the 2 people who can take this show forward and turn the show into the biggest platform in the UK for fighters to reach the top promotions. Unlike many other shows, we strive to make our fighters known, to turn them into stars by giving them as much

FEATURED FIGHTER
James Webb WEIGHT CLASS MIDDLEWEIGHT RECORD 3-1 CURRENT STREAK FIRST TITLE DEFENCE TEAM CARLSON GRACIE First of all, thank you for your time. How have your preparations gone for this fight? Thank you, yes preparation has been spot on again for this, always improving. Done the majority of my camp at SBG swords and when home at 9th legion training centre, with Alain Pozo BJJ Who have you been working with to prepare for the big fight on December 3rd? I've been working with the same people for this fight as all year, all my training partners again from Alain Pozo BJJ and then the likes of mma veterans Chris Fields and Cathal Pendred at SBG Swords. I've been doing my s&c with Elliot Chapman whilst here in the U.K. And the ISI out in Ireland whilst there, both have been crucial for getting me on weight and fit. The Point Clinic is a local osteopaths near me which sponsor me for treatment which is ideal for fixing the body weekly/fortnightly. Also to Punchstrong which is our first year working together but has been a big success with there help. They have helped me travel out to SBG and also given me quality clothing to wear. You are coming in to this fight as the bcmma amateur middleweight champion, do you feel you have been given more respect as a fighter since you've held the title at one of the UK's best shows? Yea. So Champion. Still to me I'm not really big on saying this. I don't really think to much about the status of myself as a fighter, I'm just here to perform on great shows like BCMMA, and slowly work my way up the ranks of mma, to European shows or World shows and if I can grab a belt on the way that's great. On December 3rd you will be defending your title against Henrik Lie, who has finished his last two fights at BCMMA. What do you know about your opponent and how do you think your skill sets match up?
I've also finished both by fights on BCMMA :) yea great fight I think. Should be exciting. Again I'm very confident in my skill set, spent a lot of years in grappling tournaments and kickboxing shows for these moments. I won the British Championships last year in the gi submitting everyone and this year I done the same with the no-gi. I'm always looking for a finish. F*ck a decision, that's not what I'm about. I believe you won the bcmma title in your last fight finishing Megdad Sarvar. How did you think that fight went and how did it feel to get the belt at the end of the fight? It went ok for a 3 day out replacement. Heard he was a high level wrestler which was fine with me, I accepted I'm getting taken down. He didn't like being punched we went to the ground, I got up once. I went down again. Had a triangle, he luckily got stopped by the bell. Round two similar story, beat him up a little. He got a takedown, I submitted him with a triangle. Wasn't overly happy with my performance but was great to take the belt, that's just a bonus to me in my steps on the way up. What can the fans expect to see when you step in the cage at BCMMA 17? I'm bringing sexy back. Expect a finish. I'm always out for a finish. Finally, Do you have a message for your fans before your fight? Thanks to everyone who buys tickets to show support and thanks to everyone following me on my mma career. I appreciate all the support. It's great to have people come just for you. Thank you to everyone fans, girlfriend, family, friends, coaches and team mates. Let's all go get this WIN!!!

FEATURED FIGHTER
Craig Edwards WEIGHT CLASS WELTERWEIGHT RECORD 6-7 CURRENT STREAK 4 FIGHT WIN STREAK TEAM BKK FIGHTERS - To those who have not seen you fight before, how would you describe yourself as a fighter and what can the fans expect to see on fight night? What’s up, BCMMA? You can all expect fireworks tonight. I’m coming to finish and get the job done. You have a 6-7 record as an amateur, but have won the last four fight. Would you say something has changed or clicked for you mentally or physically during this undefeated run? I just believe now. I believe in my skills and the work I put in. I just know that I can touch these guys and they’re going to sleep. Last time out you stole the show with your victory over Fionn Healy-Magwa at Tanko 1. How did it feel to go in there on one of the biggest fight cards of the year and arguably come away as the highlight of the night? It felt fantastic to go out in front of an away crowd and get a wicked knockout. It was electric. You have finished three of your last four fights in under 45 seconds. How much emphasis do you put on getting in and back out as soon as possible in training? I’m always going to prepare myself for a war, but I’m definitely looking to get a finish. If I can get in and out unscathed then it’s happy days. I don’t get paid for overtime.
You are back fighting on your gym BKK Fighters local show, BCMMA. How much of an extra motivation does the home support and lots of training partners fighting on the card provide you when you go out to fight? It will be great to go out in front of people that I love and put on a show. I just know that the support will lift me and push me to be the best that I can be. I am excited to fight in front of my friends and family and I genuinely appreciate the support. At BCMMA 17 you will be facing off against Martin Chester. What do you know about your opponent and if anything have you mixed up the training for this fight? I haven’t changed too much in the run up to this fight except working against the southpaw stance. Luckily we have some really good southpaw guys at BKK that have helped me. But regardless, the result will still be the same. Have you had any thoughts about turning pro at all or do you still feel you are learning as an amateur and have a way to go yet? I feel as though I am pushing myself towards the pro ranks, for sure. My level is there, you’ll just have to watch this space. Do you have a message for your fans before the fight? I highly recommend not blinking... Follow: @edwardsteiner74 Hashtag: #DontBeScaredGnomie

FEATURED FIGHTER
Jack Eglin WEIGHT CLASS FLYWEIGHT RECORD 3-0 CURRENT STREAK 3 FIGHT WIN STREAK TEAM DRAGONSLAIR For anybody who hasn't seen you fight or heard the name Jack Eglin before, how would you describe yourself as a fighter and what can the fans expect from you at BCMMA 17? I would describe myself as cool calm and collected I go there to get the win I'm looking to finish in anyway possible weather it be by ko or submission and the fans at bcmma can expect a exiting fight and for me to have my hand raised at the end of it. You fight out of Dragonslair, which until this year has largely been known because of Brad Scott but that has changed over the past year. In 2016 it has really emerged as one of the countries top gyms with fighters like Scott Clist picking up massive wins as well as a lot of amateur talent coming through. Have you noticed an extra buzz around the gym now it is finally getting a lot more respect? Yeah everyone is in high spirits and is looking good and it's just gave everyone including myself a massive urge to get in there and fight again and yeah we are finally getting the respect we deserve and its great we knew we were one of the best gyms in the country and now people can see we are and it's great. We touched on Brad Scott above, I know from interviewing him in the past he has really took you under his wing and saw your talent a long time ago. How beneficial to your preparation is it before fights to know you have one of the countries best fighters in your corner? Yeah it's great to have someone like brad in my corner who knows the game and has fought all around the world at the highest level with him and my head coach stu pike also Andy cockram who have both cornered at the highest level I can't see anyone beating me or any of my team mates. You are rightfully regarded as one of the countries top
amateurs at flyweight. How did it feel when you was asked to fight for the title at BCMMA, one of the top shows on the uk circuit? Yeah it was amazing I was so happy to know that I was getting a title shot on one of the biggest shows in the country and I knew being the champ on the show would shoot me up the amateur ranks in the uk and I was so excited to do so. You are now 3-0 with two victories going the distance. Do you feel any pressure to pick up a victory by stoppage or are you pleased you are getting the ring time you wouldn't if you finished a fight early on? I'm now coming off a rear naked choke and I'm very happy to get the finish but I don't feel and more pressure to get the finish if it happens it happens but I'm just happy to be there fighting at the end of the day. Unfortunately due to injury your fight vs Leigh Mitchell was scrapped when he got injured however you are now fighting for the interim title against Rabekoto Haga. How, if at all has the change of opponent changed your preparations for the fight? It's not changed at all, pull outs happen and I know they do so I try to just concentrate on what I'm doing and not what there doing. The winner of your fight will go on to unify the title against Leigh Mitchell at BCMMA 18 in February. Would you say it's beneficial to have a clear idea of who and when you're fighting next like this or does it not matter to you? It's good yeah but I'm not fussed like I said I concentrate on myself and thats it, I think I can beat any one on my day and that's all that matters. Finally, do you have a message for your fans? Thank You for buying tickets to watch me and the other guys on the show and expect a exciting fight and for me to have my hand raised at the end of it.
