Herbert Fortune, Jr would like to pay a special tribute to my beloved parents, and parents in love, who have transitioned this life, the Honorable Bishop Paul A. Bowers and Dr. Elma J. Bowers, as well as Pastor Perry Daniel and Lady Lois V. Daniel. The Lord truly blessed me with wonderful, anointed and powerful parents who raised me in a I “Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier” argent Dad”, that was my father. Soldiering was his passion. God blessed him to retire from the Army as a Sargent Major and to pastor the Progressive Church of Jesus in SC. My father was an exceptional example of S warm, loving and spirit filled home. I was also blessed “love in action”. He was even more dedicated to service with a mother and father in love, who were examples of to God. I pay special tribute to exceptional men Dad love and wisdom as well. I also extend to my handsome encountered as we travelled from post to post: Pastor husband of 44 years, Suffragan Bishop LaVelton Daniel, Anders, Fayetteville, NC; Pastor Radford, Hopkinsville, a Happy Father’s Day! Momma you are the treasure that heaven holds That is the belief that I’ve always been told, When I stand on that belief the dream never folds, Momma because you were our treasure of gold The memories you left behind can never be sold. I will always hold you so dear and close to my heart As though you’re not gone, You are just kept in those most secret and inner parts.

Mom I miss you so much I still need to have that motherly touch. Your strength took on mountains. Your faith never wavered; it stood the test of time And now faith and strength have become mine. Time and time and time again I wish I still had my friend.
