Emcee Farah Jadran Farah Jadran is the weekend morning anchor and a weekday reporter for KING 5 TV news. New to Seattle since August 2021, Farah says she is thrilled to be part of this community and has a special affinity for helping animals find their forever homes. “Our animal family members are so special. They are loving and unconditional members of our home packs and it’s our responsibility to love them back and care for them." Farah should know, as she and her husband are parents to three dogs: Jack, Bogey and Bear. Farah looks forward to hosting PAWS Wild Night—appropriately decked out in animal print—and demonstrating her dedication to the PAWS mission.

Dear PAWS Supporter, Welcome to PAWS Wild Night–—2021 edition! We’re honored to share this special evening with you. You are essential to our mission to serve cats, dogs and wild animals. So, here’s to you: the long-time supporters of PAWS, those who have recently joined us, and those of you who are learning about PAWS for the first time. We need and appreciate you. This year has been another year of change and challenges for all of us, but because of donors like you, we are providing vital services to our community every day. Your generous support of PAWS gives homeless cats and dogs the chance to find loving families. And during these unprecedented times, the warmth that an animal companion can provide to people is more important than ever. Integral to our mission to provide life-saving care to cats, dogs and wildlife, PAWS offers educational programs for youth in schools. Our efforts reinforce the intrinsic value of animals to inspire action that is consistent with demonstrating compassion and respect for them. Our efforts to create a better world for animals and for people who love them have never been more critical. Calls from the public to our wildlife center have increased dramatically, and this year, we have received a staggering number of wild animals that have been injured or orphaned by the extreme weather events that our region is experiencing with greater intensity and frequency. And thanks to people like you, there is not only hope, but action every day to better the lives of animals. Your support of our work during PAWS Wild Night is deeply appreciated.
With gratitude,

PAWS helps cats, dogs and wild animals go home and thrive—whether home is the family room or the forest. We do this by rehabilitating orphaned and injured wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating the community to inspire compassionate action for animals.
