My mommy, one of the most important people in my life, the most selfless individual I know & probably will ever know. From the moment I was born, she was the first person I fell in love with. She is indeed gorgeous, but its her soft light brown eyes that show nothing but kindness the love you get from her make you feel warm on the coldest day. Mymom always worked hard to ensure that me and my sister had the best upbringing that we could get, at times she was strict and often talked to me in a stern tone whenever me or my sister made a mistake. Of course no child likes punishment, but as I got older and looked back on it I realized that she was correcting me out of love & not to scrutinize me. Me and my sister always took pride in our mother's appearance , I especially took pride in her eyes. I remember when she would come to my school for report card pick up , I wanted to make sure everyone knew some way some how, that this beautiful creature was my mother. I've seen very beautiful people throughout my lifetime, but very few, match the impeccable beauty that is my mother. The main reason I was always fond of my mother, is because of the way she used to take more than great care of us, especially when one of us were sick. She is a very knowledgeable woman who knew and made different at home remedies to care for us when we fell ill. There was never a moment when we were sick that we felt uncomfortable while we were sick in her care, even the shortest back rubs would put us

They talked just long enough for my father to get what we wanted out of the deal. Shortly after, she discovered that she was pregnant with me. I think it 's so funny now because my father likes to say "I just blew on your mom, and she got pregnant. I don 't know how that happened." During my mother 's pregnancy, she discovered a lot of things about my father that would make the average woman infuriated. She found out that he already had a daughter (my oldest sister, Tia) with another woman from his hometown, Detroit, Michigan. And while he was "seeing" her (for a better choice of words) he was also "seeing" another woman who lived in the same area of the city that she lived. And if that wasn 't enough, she found out that woman was also pregnant by my father with my oldest brother, Angel, who is only five months older than me. To make it even worse, she did not obtain any of this information from my father. She learned this information on a trip to the mall, from a mutual friend that my mother and Angel 's mother did not know they shared. My mother was extremely heartbroken and depressed after finding out all of this. She actually believed that her and my father had a future together; which is a joke in itself knowing my father's past. She was in a deep depression for a long period of time. But she knew that she would have to get over it because she was about to have a daughter. She that she would have to raise me regardless if my father were going to be in the picture

This essay is about how my family has raised me since the day that I was born. Also, I will talk about my illness and the community around me how they have helped me throughout life.
"My family" one of the best words that I love, because my family has raised me since I was born. Coming out to the world and starting to develop my body system as the years move on has been great. Especially, mymother she has been there for me and one of the things that makes me feel great is that she never goes by herself I always tend to be by her side. Even though I tend to talk to her bad, not pay any attention to her makes me feel bad because she is my mother the one that has taken care of me since the day that I came to the world. That is why my mother...show more content...
Both of my parents knew what was going on during those years they felt very sad for me especially, because I would not understand the situation that I am in. However, as of now both my parents and me understand how everything will eventually change, but we are capable of having fun here in the world because god knows that we can achieve anything.
The last main point is my community, because they were always there for me they never let me do things alone. I remember when I had my surgery I was in bed for a whole week it felt miserable. Not having people coming to see me felt bad, even though I helped them in some things they did not appreciate it. Until one day my neighbors and friends came to see me I felt great, because they made me do everything so I can get out of the hospital as soon as possible. When I got home and the days passed I started to recover from that surgery and got to the routine with the neighbors they helped me in tasks and I helped them back it was good. Thanks to them coming to visit me in the hospital, because if I was lonely chances are that I would even be in the hospital still or something else would of happened. That is why I am enjoyable on having those close neighbors and friends because they are capable of helping one another.
I would want the rep to know how my illness made my family raise me differently, and how my community has also been part of helping me. It will be good for them to know all this because it shows
1.I care for my dear mother, art, and education. I care for my mom because she is the woman that gave me life and raised me to become the person who I am today. I have learned how to treat other people better through watching her, and she has shown me what it means to be honest and trustworthy. She has forced me to take challenges like applying to colleges outside of Texas even though I had never been anywhere else than Texas, Oklahoma, and Mexico. She has supported me in my goals to receive acollege degree to someday help underprivileged family in poor communities and poor countries. Second, I care for my education. Every day I help my family, and I have realized that I would like to expand my assistance and help others. As I mentioned, I want to be a college graduate and be certified in a field that will allow me to assist people, such as children. I am not sure what I want to do with the rest of my life, but I know that I want to help people. I want to be able to use the skills and knowledge I learn in college for the betterment of others and myself. College is the vehicle for this because I believe the only way for me to flourish mentally and financially is growing in my education. Education is already my passion, and college will suffice my hunger for knowledge. Third, I care for art. Beyond honing my skills in traditional subjects, I have become deeply invested in developing as an artist. At first, art in my eyes was just something that I was good at creating.

My mother Christy Rehn has many great qualities that make up who she is today. First, to give a physical description; she is a female and is 44 years old about 5'5 . She has short dark brown hair that goes down to her shoulders. Her eyes are as brown as a bear and are very fast moving. One great quality is that my mom is very funny. She enjoys a good laugh when she's feeling happy or not feeling well at all. She enjoys spending time with her family. Especially, going to the movies as well as sitting out on the beach on a hot sunny day. My mom isn't just another average person, she shares her many unique qualities that allow others to see who she really is on the inside. Walking in from school, I saw Christy running around and thinking...show more content...
Her opinion towards others is that some are better than others. I think that she has the ability to inspire others since she is a teacher and in general. She makes others feel like they are welcome in this world and that they can accomplish anything they work hard on or put their mind to. Taking responsibility is something my mom really follows through on she makes a big to commitment to her job, who she married, and especially to her kids. She is determined to make what we want to become a reality. She thinks that nothing is impossible, you just have to work for your goals and never back down from what you are doing. Her sense of humor is something that I love she is hilarious and tells the best stories. I know that having boundaries is something us kids don't like but it's a good thing on the parent side. While my mom loves me, she will be upset with me if I make a serious mistake and there will be consequences. This shows that she has good parenting and is loyal to what she says and does. My mom is a wonderful listener, if I tell her that I have a big test coming up or that I got into trouble at school she will remind me each day to study for the test coming up. She will then sit down with me to discuss what had happened that day at school. It's like my mom has a daily agenda in her mind. She always knows what's going on the day being like if I have a soccer game or if my sisters going out with friend etc, she

A mother is someone who can take the place of all others but no one can take the place of her. There are many different definitions you could use to describe your mother. My mother, Pam Krull, fits every one of those. Today I decided to pick the three that I thought was most important to me. I admire and aspire to be like my mother because of how supportive, how selfless, and how loving she is. My mom has gone through a lot to get where she is today. I will begin by telling you a little bit about my mom's background. My mom grew up outside ofGeorge with her parents, Harris and Bev Kaster, and her three siblings, Erik, Brad, and Kristy. She attended George High School when they were still Blue Jays. My mom was involved in a lot of different activities. She was in the play, large group and individual speech, a cheerleader, played the drums in band, was in student council, secretary of her class, REC club, band, and jazz band. In her free time she hung out with friends and her sister. She had a few jobs growing up also. She babysat a lot, worked at the library, and the dentist office. My mother also helped teach bible school, catechism, and attended youth group at Hope Reformed Church. My mother met my dad, Doug Krull when she was a junior in high school. They dated for a while and ended getting married. They then had three beautiful daughters, Allyssa, Megan, and Rebecca. My mom went to Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, to get her education

My Mom Moms are the most special and pure beings in the world. They are that being who gives everything for love, for her home, for her children and grandchildren. The mother is such a blessed woman that she endures so many things for the sake of her children, while many times we are ungrateful to them, assuming that our mothers will always be there for us. When moms still there with you, it is fortunate to have her, because the kind oflove she gives is the purest you can ever find. My mom, for example, is very special to me, since she has taught me how to live and how to value things in life. She has always been present at all times and has not spent a single day in which she has forgotten to give me her blessing. she is the one who...show more content... She always encourages me to work hard, stay focus and never give up. She has been a great example of how to be an excellent mother and wife. What I admire most about her is that when I was a baby she used to work everyday and I am surprised that she always had time for me and her work, I mean that working and taking care of a baby is very difficult. Everyday she gets up to work, to be sure that I have everything I need. She's a mother and wife focused on giving her family the best of her. If my family were in need, she would do whatever it takes to get what is needed. Another reason why my mother is very special is because she always makes space and takes time to go to my volleyball games. She sometimes has to drive three or four hours and stay in a hotel just to be present in my games. She gets really involved in the game, she cheers a lot, and she is my number one cheerleader. My mom sometimes takes goodies to treat my teammates. They all respect and love her because how she treats everyone on the team. She gets excited and has a lot of fun in my games. I'm thankful for what my mom has done for me. Everyday she's looking for different ways to improve my lifestyle. The sacrifices she has to make to help me move forward is something I will never be able to pay her back. There's nothing better than share with her my challenges and achievements. I always ask God to bless me allowing me to have

My mother has many wonderful traits, but there's a few that stand out. First of all, her wisdom is outstanding. She provides great advice no matter the situation. Also, I'd say she has a positive mentality. She always has this optimistic point of view for everything. Ultimately, the trait that stands out in her the most is compassion. It's incredible the way she shows compassion towards everyone. Her way of demonstrating compassion is very unique. She always puts herself in everyone else's shoes, without naming their flaws. Overall, she the best mother I could have asked for. Ever since day one, she has proven to be a wise woman. When preparing for a test she helps me by giving me useful advice on how to mentally prepare for it. When in doubt...show more content...
He gave us the hospitals name and we instantly looked it up in the GPS and my mother drove us there. We quickly ran up to the floor where my brother was being treated. As soon as we saw my father sitting in the waiting room my mother ran up him to ask him what did the doctors say about my brother. He said that due to his grave condition he had to be placed in intensive care. That as soon as my brother's condition stabilized, we would be able to see him. My mother was trying to be strong, I could see it in her eyes and in the way she talked. Since time was passing by and we were already tired, my father took us to a hotel and left us there. He then went back to the hospital with my mother. Days went by and little improvement was shown, things were beginning to look good. Nurses informed us that we were able to see my brother. But only two people can be in the room at once. So both of my parents went in first. Then after a while, my brothers and I went in. He was in a bed asleep, he looked tired and exhausted. We decided to leave and let him rest. Finally, a doctor came out the door and through the hallway looking for my parents. My mother quickly stood up and asked him how was my brother doing. The doctor said that my brother had the flu and two other viruses that he had encountered most probably in the previous hospital. My mother's face was sadness in every sense

My Mother, My Friend It is not easy, moving back home with your parents as an adult. Especially when you are the parent of grown children yourself. Due to circumstances beyond my control, that is what I had to do. Although I had been out of my parents home for over thirty years and had been married (and divorced) moving back home kind of felt like I had never left. I believe that is because my parents were treating me as though I was the unruly teenager I once was. That and the fact I was in MY bedroom. I choose to do my relationship analysis paper on my relationship with my mother Juanita. My mom has Alzheimer's, and communication can be frustrating at times. The three communication concepts I will focus on are, 1. Becoming a better listener, 2, Expressing myself to her in a way she can better understand and 3. Paying better attention to her nonverbal cues. I love my mother dearly, and want to be able to communicate with her the best we can. My mother is one of the most important people in my life. In fact, she is probably THE most important person in my life. She is beautiful, she is kind, she is thoughtful and she is honest. She is a good wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. There is not a mean bone in her body. I have worked for the last fifteen years doing in Home Health Care for Alzheimer's patients and their families, so when my mom got diagnosed I was devastated. I was devastated because I know how this game ends, and it breaks my

My mom essentially is the most inspirational person to me in a basically big way. When I specifically feel down she comforts me, or so they for all intents and purposes though. She listens to all of my problems and reassures me when my insecurities essentially come out in a generally major way. She's also very determined, when she mostly puts her mind to something, she exceeds basically past her goals, pretty contrary to popular belief. She kind of is not just my mom she for the most part is also my really the best friend in a for all intents and purposes major way. When she's sad she doesn't show it because she can very timid, so she wore leg warmers and fairly bright neon colors in a pretty major way. Growing up I've always had my mom and my grandmother taking care of me but, at times my mom would always have to work and I hated it. My mom worked late hours or went in early in the morning. Everyday I always wondered why did she have to leave, why couldn't she just stay home with us, was it that hard for her to just stay home? My granny did her very best taking care of us and I loved her so much for that. There was still always this though in my head everyday that i always thought of and that was "would mommy ever take off work and spend more time with us".

If Janie had her father to love her like he should then i think she would not be out trying to find it. Her grandmother clearly loved her enough and that's all she needed but that was not what Janie wanted.

A Gift for My Mother
The story "A Gift for My Mother" is a short story written by Viv McDade which deals with a family of three; a set of parents and their daughter. The mother envies the beautiful houses with hallways and moulded skirting boards on the other side of the railway, and she usually gets angry about the differences between her own family and their property compared to the house on other side of the railway. Themother is a housewife, and the narrator lets the reader get to know this on page 8, where the father comes home with his paycheck and the mother responds "What you've earned isn't enough for us to live on" (pg. 8). – Clearly the father's paycheck is what pays for the family. The father on the other hand is a ...show more content...
However the daughter states "I heard Dad's car and ran out to meet him" (pg. 8), so clearly they must have enough money to own a car and pay the gas.
The main character has two different types of relationship to her parents. The relationship to her dad, is a "daddy's little girl" relationship comprehended by the fact the father calls his daughter "my precious" (pg. 8) and the main character sees her father as a down–to–earth superhero, so to say.– A superhero in her everyday life. He gets paychecks, he helps her with school if she has a difficulty and she enjoys getting help from him. She also enjoys letting him know if she did a good job in school and as she tells him "'I was the only one who could spell illiterate,' I tell him" (pg. 8), he responds by giving her a big compliment, which completes the idea of him being a superhero/loving father. The relationship to the mother is different kind of relationship compared to the father. The daughter does not like it when the mother is angry or is mad the father. She picked the mother a bunch of flowers to get the houses on the other side of the railway off the mother's mind, and when the mother grumble about the paycheck and their financial circumstances, and daughter decides to take action. The daughter takes action by getting a lot of bunches of flowers and sells the flowers to the Get more content
Language is simply a tool for people of the universe to communicate with one another and it makes the World more complicated but also interesting. Language makes you share something, makes people understand you through expressing yourself or your opinion. Starting from the very early stages of human life there've been lots of various languages which were the ways for the connection among populations. Now, in our modern days we have many languages from the very famous and international ones to the languages of small communities. Every culture has its own main language and people value their own language differently from many aspects. For some people speaking in your own "mother tongue" where you must speak the language of the place you've born is important, for...show more content...

"...But to me my mother's English is perfectly clear, perfectly natural. It's my mother tongue" The author mainly writes about the relationship between her and her mother, and also the effect of "broken English" in their life. She was born in the USA, California differently from her mother who was born in China and then migrated to the USA. She describes herself as a language lover, a simple writer who likes thinking about the power of language, creativities, imaginations, emotions and ideas it can evoke. She's not an expert on English but enjoys being herself with her identity, it's not important where she comes from or which language she speaks for herself. But, for the people around her and her family it's a great deal sometimes. Not having enough knowledge in a particular language or being not able to express yourself while you're intelligent actually is a serious issue for those people. My mother is a very complicated woman. I believe the best way to describe her would be, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." I know, weird way to start off my literary story, right? As much as I do not like my mother, I love her, and respect her. While I am being honest, I owe my work ethic and a vast majority of my success to her, as much as I hate to admit it. The way she lived her life, most college graduates and the societal hoity toity types would raise their noses to. However, you can't deny her dedication to her children and theireducation, she is the start of my literacy journey. Mymother wasn't always...how do it put this? Let's go with questionable, and she was stable and the picture–perfect mother when she was married to my father. My mother and father thought it would be beneficial for her to stay at home with my twin brother and I. Flash cards were always there, before Kindergarten my mom made sure my twin and I could count to 100, we knew our ABC's, we could write our names, our parents' names, knew our address and phone number. Every Thursday we went to the public library for story time and to pick out our books for the week. Before nap and before bed we would read one of Miguel's books and one of mine, some of the books we read so much that my brother and I memorized the stories. We would even pretend to read those favorite stories. As the years went on and we went to school my mother was super involved. She had all our grades emailed to her,

I could say I have many mentors in my life, but my most important mentor is my mom. A mentor to me is someone who critically guides you through your life decisions and provokes endless learning from their life experiences and wisdom. The only person who meets my idea of a mentor is my mom. I have known her since birth and have always felt loved and cared by her. She gives me every tool I could possibly need to succeed through primary school and onto postsecondary schooling. She has always given me words of encouragement, been honest when I am in the wrong, and has always pushed me to reach my potential. I went to my mom on a Sunday, which is family day in our house. We went out to lunch with my brother since he was visiting from college, and I got the opportunity to ask my mom about her views on Mitch's and my topics. In my conversation with my mom we talked about three topics; A meaningful life, Family, and Education. Mitch's first topic was what it means to have a meaningful life. My mom believes that what it means to have a meaningful life, is that it should not be defined by money or other people's opinions. But rather it should be defined by your happiness and compassion for the things you do in your everyday life. When discussing Mitch's second topic, family, my mom believes that the most important thing is that family is there for you to be honest, and to be critical of your decisions in life. We both agreed they should be supportive of your passions and beliefs,

This opened a door to a spiral of choices that included promiscuity, teenage pregnancy and dropping out ofhigh school. (PAUSE)
People always ask my mother, why on earth she dropped out of high school. She said that at the time, in her 17–year–old head, it made more sense to be at home protecting her daughter, than completing her education.
Yes, the person I deem a superhero, my mother, got pregnant at the ripe age of 17, the same age I am now. My mom became pregnant during her junior year of high school. Not to brag, but, despite her choices, she was a very gifted student. My mom gave birth to my sister in 1987 after completing her junior year. Unfortunately, she dropped out of high school during her senior year and with the support of my grandmother, began to work different jobs to support my sister.
I just want to share that at times, it seems that her decision not to complete school drives my mother the most. She is maniacal about young women completing their education and pursing advance degrees. She is especially passionate about her daughters, which of course includes me, completing their education. But that's fine, it's not like I have ever experienced any "pressure" to succeed. (LOL)
After giving birth to my sister, my mother worked odd jobs for the next few years, and then she gave birth to me, her second daughter. I often hear that my

Growing up in a poor family, my mother must work very hard to earn her living since an early age. Due to shortage of material condition, she herself has trained an extremely strong will and ability to sedately deal with each difficulty and stand up to move on from her failures. I vividly remember the calamity poured down on my family when my mother' business went bankrupt. We had to sell our house and leave for another town to begin from "zero". This critical time made every member in my family really upset. But it was my mother, the persistent and brave women, strongly stood up and started over again after this great adversity. Each of her failures, her grief, and the way she overcame difficulties to move on has made an indelible impression in my mind, leaving me with precious lessons about the values of strong wills and indefatigable endeavors to firmly confront with setbacks and bravely conquer them. There was time when I felt that there was no more hope in life, that I felt very weary and was about to give up everything. After the constant moving from one place to another and my grades slipping down the drain I was unable to deal with any small problems and felt embarrassed to meet my relatives and friends. However, that was also the time that I acquired from my mother how to learn from her mistakes and developed my own set of tools to take more lessons from them to realize the proper meanings of determination.

Hard to grasp the concept? yea i know how you feel. Beth is the closest thing i have to a mom at this point in time in my life she is strict and hard headed when need but caring and understanding. It was hardly even a month into my stay with Beth, Bri and Brayden when we actually started to face and understand the problems of my life. I was hurting and confused on life itself but Mama Beth was always there to guide me she gave me not only a role model but hope and love. She took me to church and help me connect with god again I remember the first time I heard her mention anything having to do with her religion. "We are going to church this sunday ally be ready and dress nice."I looked up at her from the back seat confused and a little worried. "I don't go to church mama Beth I haven't been since Bri left" She looks down for a second with a subtle sigh and shake of her head before turning back to face me with a caring smile and a gleam in her eye I could only find comforting as she rested a hand on my knee. "Why do you not go to church hun? Is it because Bri left or is it something else?" Now it was my turn to look down but this time it was in shame and regret. "The people at the church did not accept me anymore after Bri left, They
