C.P. COMPANY FLAGSHIP STORE
Milano, Italy
C.P. Company, the sportswear brand founded in the 70’s by Massimo Osti, a young graphic designer from Bologna. It has opened the first flagship store for the worldwide retail project, in Milan. The store extends approximately 170 square metres with the ground floor and the basement. The concept of the store was to create a flexible retail space with a modular arrangement focusing on a constant rotation of clothing, colours, industrial machinery, special products and in-store processes of customization.
TEAM PROJECT
A suspended lightbox hanging from the ceiling, creates a dynamic element that determines a unique colour show.
Inspired by the brand’s colour dyeing, a dedicated space is available for customization service called Bespoke Colour.
In contrast with the neutral environment, deconstructed blue gradient platonic solids are made from materials immersed in colour, inspired by the same dyeing process used for the garments.
CARHARTT The design concept for this brand is to keep the interiors minimal and clean having a contrast with the use of different materials and enveloping the space with a flexible display structure system. There is a composition of tables with different materials and heights for display of products and storage of stock. Each store has a unique element depending on the location of the store.
CARHARTT WIP FLAGSHIP STORE Kyoto, Japan
The two-storey 72 sqm store in Kyoto, Japan consists of a retail space on the ground floor and an office on the first floor. The distinctive feature of this retail space is the flexible modular display configuration. Under the existing network of beams, a grid of tracks are positioned so that the modules in the central area would move along the beams to create an ever changing environment.
TEAM PROJECT
CARHARTT WIP FLAGS This Flagship store in Antwerp, Belgium extends over two floors, 290 sq m of retail space on the ground floor and 160 sq m for the coffee bar and events on the first floor. “LIFE IS A BALANCE BETWEEN REST AND MOVEMENT.” The project focuses on bringing back a balance to the inner structure of the company. One of the main cores of the project is an important human factor : well-being, having different ways of personal, social and physical satisfication while working. The inspiration was based on the main values of the Amazonian Ecosystem, highlighting the importance of balance between the different elements that co-exist and interact in perfect harmony. According to the Amazon’s needs and aspirations, the design works as a visual and spatial statement, in which the Brand’s Principles are re-analyzed and merged, as both, Functional and Aesthetic aspects, resulting in a new Re-balanced System.

The colours, lines, patterns and shapes of the carpet were inspired from the Memphis Design by Ettore Sottsass. The colour palette of Pop Art blended with the trademark black-white and the geometric figures of Art Deco gives it a retro and rebellious spirit.
