Payam Nia Mechatronics Architect of FILM Products at KLA
Payam Nia received a PhD in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University. Payam M Nia is a senior mechatronics design engineer with extensive experience in complex dynamics, robotics, and controls in product development.
Payam Nia’s research focuses on the mechanical/mechatronics architecture of semiconductor fabrication equipment. Motion and vibration control, control algorithm development, and robotics are all areas of interest for him.
Payam M Nia has over ten years of expertise working with multi-body dynamics, linear and nonlinear systems modeling, sensor and actuator design, and sensor fusion. Payam M Nia knows the project lifecycle and agile project development approaches inside and out.
In 2014, Payam M Nia was also the winner of the ASML mechatronics robots competition. Python, MATLAB, Simulink and SimMechanics, SVN, Microsoft teams, Excel, Office timeline, Jupyter notebook, PyCharm, Adobe Acrobat, and Latex, are his technological skills.
Payam Nia understands how to conduct effective design evaluations, allowing you to showcase your work while also receiving comments on alternatives and enhancements. For X-ray imaging, he devised a multi-stage positioning controller system.
Payam Nia's created new programs that employ MATLAB and Python to effectively analyze sensor and actuator trace data for calibration and troubleshooting. Payam M Nia taught undergraduate students how to study dynamic systems and construct linear control systems.
Payam Nia used simulation, modelling, and testing to create reliable motor controllers in teleoperation with numerous networks and sensor delays.
