Designer Amanda Lindroth of Amanda Lindroth Design is known for cultivating Caribbean decor, and this room is a wonderful example. “This magical house sits on a hidden street in the middle of town, in a wild 1920s tropical jungle,” Lindroth says. “It is the most unexpected bit of wonder. We added the time-perfect pecky ceilings and stenciled them in cobalt blue. We kept the furniture comfortable and ample for parties and guests.
