Photography by 150 members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County will be on view at the Lighthouse ArtCenter in Tequesta beginning September 6. The “2022 ImageMakers Exhibit” boasts black-and-white, color, digital, and alternativeprocess images by club members between the ages of 6 and 18. “The meaningful images on exhibit reveal the humanity of these proud photographers,” says curator Janeen Mason. The photographs were submitted to the Southeast Regional ImageMakers Competition, and six local winning members will represent the

HEAR THEM ROAR
Dinosaur lovers are in luck because things are taking a turn for the prehistoric at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium in West Palm Beach. The center will unveil “Dinosaur Explorer,” an interactive journey through dino life, September 15. The exhibit draws parallels between humans and our predecessors, allowing guests to compare life on Earth today and 65 million years ago, from family dynamics and interpersonal relationships to intelligence. Animatronic dinosaurs, casts, real fossils, and hands-on activities will keep paleontologists-in-the-making engaged in discovering what we share with the ancient creatures.
