Dear Pine Crest School Community, Beyond the classrooms, the 2013-14 academic year has set the standard for alumni engagement, parent volunteerism, and philanthropy. Following a very successful homecoming, alumni reunions, and campus winter holiday party, the Alumni Relations Office conducted highly attended regional receptions in San Francisco, Boston, Washington, D.C., and New York City.

Parents continued to provide their time, hard work, and leadership through many campus activities sponsored by their various parent organizations. The auction committees ran magnificent events that engaged hundreds of parents, alumni, and faculty. Their proceeds provided valuable additional resources for scholarships and other high priority needs.

The Pine Crest Fund, the School’s annual giving effort, surpassed last year’s record and exceeded its $1.6 million goal. In addition to a record-setting fund, donors also contributed an additional $1.9 million specifically designated for endowment, academic and extracurricular programs, facilities, and other capital purposes.

This Annual Report of Donors chronicles all charitable giving to Pine Crest, and on behalf of the students, faculty, and programs that benefit from this support, please accept my thanks and appreciation.

2013-14 COLUMNS SOCIETY MEMBERS The Columns Society honors those donors who are the mainstay of support to Pine Crest School. Members of the Columns Society are recognized by having their names placed on a permanent bronze plaque displayed on the campus of their choice. They are also honored at a reception in the year following their initial gift.

Membership is gained through a total unrestricted gift of $15,000 to The Pine Crest Fund or an unrestricted gift of $3,000 to The Pine Crest Fund plus a signed four-year pledge of $3,000 per year to The Pine Crest Fund.

After their pledge of $15,000 has been fulfilled, members are invited to remain active in the Columns Society by continuing their annual support with gifts to The Pine Crest Fund of $3,000 per year.
