Gold Coast members were treated to a year’s end outdoor social at Tradewinds Park. Many new members attended their first GCR event and learned more about PCA. Our junior members were trained on concours judging and put to the test with the guidance of our PCA national judges. A great start to our future PCA members! Gold Coast has a rich history in the concours area and the PCA Juniors program is a great way to keep the tradition alive. I would like to thank the photographers who have provided coverage of our events. I hope you enjoy the “Perfect Trifecta” article and photos that accompany the story. We also have the same coverage for the “PCA Juniors” story.
We are always looking for interesting stories about our Porsche automobiles; 9 Auto Motion has provided a great article for your reading pleasure, “Improving on Perfection.” Thank you to all the members who have been submitting articles. Another great article that was submitted by Pedro Bonilla about his adventurous trip to the Sebring race track: “Sebring Hates My Car!”
Check out our updated calendar with new events for Gold Coast and also Gulfstream. With Gulfstream becoming the newest PCA region, its new officers appear on page 22. We have also posted a flyer for their first event on page 7. PCA will be sending more information about the formation of the Gulfstream region.
As you read this newsletter several hundred PCA members will be at the 48 Hours at Sebring PCA Club Race. I hope you are also at the event with us. Sponsored by Champion Porsche, PCNA, and many other sponsors, this yearly event has become the largest PCA club race in the world. This year will be a bit different because of extra health precautions but the committee from national, Suncoast and Gold Coast region have worked hard to make the 28th annual race safe and enjoyable to the more than 400 who attend. More stories and photos as we return from Sebring. Enjoy your Porsche and your PCA club,
