Happy Veterans Day to the veterans in our membership! Thank you for your service to this great country. With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, I think about how thankful I am to be a part of the PCA Gold Coast Region. Not only is it fun to drive and show our awesome Porsches, it is also nice that GCR contributes to charities giving back to our community. This truly is a unique extended family.
This message, then, is to all the volunteers who work hard to make all kinds of things happen for our club, from creating badges, to organizing and supporting socials, tours and many other events and efforts that GCR gets behind. We can’t do it without you all. Thank you!
In the Rear View Mirror
The Rock, Blues and Brews event at the Black Flamingo Brewing Co. was a success with over 50 members in attendance in spite of the rain. It was fun visiting with everyone. Thank you to Mike Del Pozo for organizing the event.
The popular Oktoberfest event was on October 8th at the Biergarten in Boca Raton. We had a great turnout and collected a trailerful of hurricane relief supplies. Thank you to Ian Gerada for organizing this event.
By the time this issue comes out, the October 22, Lake Placid Gimmick Rally and Mural Tour will have taken place. Thank you to Steve and Dottie Kidd for organizing that event.

Nov. 3rd - Art and Autos at the InterContinental Hotel at Doral Nov. 5th - Driver’s Education Class at Porsche West Broward
On the horizon:
Dec. 3rd is our Holiday in Paradise holiday party at the Margaritaville Beach Resort in Hollywood. More information will be coming out about that soon.
