I hope you had an enjoyable summer and were able to put some fun miles on your Porsche. The Kassette cover captures a group of PCA members preparing their cars for a Concours event. The question about this not so recent photo is, where was it taken? You can send your answer to the editor with a subject line of COVER.

Now that I have your attention about the magazine cover, we receive the lowest number of photos from our members as possible cover submissions. The majority of photos are taken in landscape format, not portrait – and portrait is the preferred format for our cover. Most of our cover photos relate to our monthly articles. We also look for photographs of high resolution that will provide great art to the reader. With this knowledge, please consider some of your future photographs for the cover - we might just use them!

We have been writing about the need for volunteers for the past few months. We’ve also explained how to participate in supporting the club. Many of our members who have been volunteering and working to support different events have decided to get more involved. Some of these members are participating in our 2022 GCR election. Board and Director position elections are held every two years. You may already know many of the candidates. Still, to help you learn more about them, we are publishing a “Notice of Election” and the Bios of each candidate. You will notice that we have a mixture of new members and members who have served the club for many years. The entire slate of candidates consists of members already serving in different roles and supporting the club. We are all volunteers.
