The New 992 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Like most Porsche enthusiasts, I simply love learning about the new Porsche offerings each time a new iteration of our beloved vehicles are released. This was no different last month when we witnessed the unveiling of the all new 992 GT3 RS. Inspiration for this high performance 911 comes from the highly successful 911 RSR and the 911 GT3 R racing cars. “The new 911 GT3 RS is even more optimized for track use than its predecessors. The incredibly responsive, high-revving four-liter, six-cylinder boxer engine with approximately 500 hp has proven ideal for use at track days and club sport events,” says Andreas Preuninger, Director GT Model Line. “That’s why we focused primarily on aerodynamics and chassis areas in the development of the new 911 GT3 RS.”
