For the 5 separate cell wings and ancillary areas that PCE were responsible for the crane use strategy and its positioning were key to ensure the assembly works were carried out as efficiently as possible.

A potential hazard was the close proximity of the very busy Midland trainline which required and dictated a very clear and concise sequence for the assembly construction, with all the necessary checks, restrictions and necessary Network Rail approvals to be in place.
