Come along to help plant hanging baskets around the Greenway Centre and clean up Tricketts Park. Decorate a Parade float with local artists Kalina and Sophie Enjoy some free soup and sandwiches, and a bouncy castle and multi-sports for the kids!
Colwick Woods Gala Day
Greenwood Rd (opposite Nottingham Academy) Catch the No. 43 bus for the 9th annual celebration of Colwick Woods – a fun day for all of the family. Wide variety of stalls, entertainment, refreshments and activities – archery, dancers, food, dog shows,Vikings, kick boxing, chainsaw carving, live music. Come and see the best views in Nottingham, explore and learn about the nature reserve.

A long standing Sneinton Festival favourite this year with a difference. All the appetising atmosphere and delightful food aromas of previous years but with the Secret Kitchen Cafe’s social twist. A night of social eating a food story telling. Make a dish, bring a dish, share a dish. 10 cooks and local groups from across our diverse community will make food for us to sit down and share together. Showcase your culture, we invite you to bring a family favourite dish to share. The more your make the more there is to share

Join us for free in the heart of Sneinton Festival! ‘My Place In The World’ is a creative open project, suitable for adults and children alike. Using photography and other art materials, we will make work that explores the diversity and colour of Sneinton and its community. Everyone is welcome! All materials will be provided.

Meeting at 11:15am at Windmill car park for free refreshments and face painting Set off at 12pm Head onto Windmill Lane, turning left onto Sneinton Dale, down to Highcliff Road, up Highcliff to the top of Sneinton Boulevard, from the top of Sneinton Boulevard down to Trent Road, across Colwick Road, down Trent Lane, finishing at the Greenway Centre!

This year’s festival has been brought to you by the Seninton Festival Group: Anna, Louise, Dave, Brendan, Kallina, Sophie, Jacqui, Andy, Jane, Shaz, Nicola, Liz, Paul, Marsha, Jordan and many more. Thanks to the local councillors, David Mellen, Gul Khan and Ken Williams for funding the event. Thanks also to the Renewal Trust, Edale Primary, William Booth Primary and the CofE primary Schools, the Greenway Centre, Old school Hall, all the bands/artists that are performing for free this year, the dance groups, the Police, Leon Lewis and Mick Guthrie, Sneinton Alchemy and the Community Organisers, the Lord Nelson Pub, and all of you that have taken part. See you next year when hopefully we can start a bit earlier in the year and with more of you involved in some way!
