SkillsUSA Leadership Conference Putnam Career & Technical Center hosted a successful 2013 State Leadership Conference for SkillsUSA in late March. SkillsUSA is a collaboration among students, teachers, and industry that prepares young people for careers in health services, technology, skilled services and trade. Students enrolled in secondary and postsecondary programs from around the state competed in activities that allowed them to showcase their career skills. Putnam County students earned a total of forty-four awards, including 32 gold medals, 8 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals. Congratulations to all of the Putnam
