HURRICANE -- This team showed up in force Friday night, pulling out a win against Logan. The Redskins' running game was alive and well, racking up more than 300 yards rushing. Zach Pate ran for 82-yards on the opening kickoff return. During the first 19 seconds of play, Hurricane was up by 7. This early momentum for the Redskins only grew throughout the game. Its defense immobilized the Wildcats. Hurricane blocked a touchdown pass and forced a turnover on Logan's first drive. Quarterback Austin Hensley then led the offense on a road toward the end zone, capped by a

the "holder's knee was touching the ground." Coaches on the sidelines disagreed with the ruling, but shook it off. The scoreboard showed Red-
skins 13 and Logan 0, with 3:31 left in the first quarter. Moments later Logan answered with a touchdown. Wildcats' Quarterback Chris Marcum fired a 54-yard touchdown pass to Josh Rein. The Redskins ' offense responded. It soon slammed Logan's door shut. Into the first five minutes of the second quarter, Hensley and Turner connected. This touchdown drive boosted Hurricane to a 20 - 7 lead. It wasn't just the offense making moves for Hurricane. The defense sealed the deal, batting down passes left and right.
