YOUNG FAMILIES 4th to 5th grade transition We know this transition is a big deal, so we have several opportunities to help kids and their parents make it a success at PCPC. • Amazing Jakes: Parents and fourth graders are invited to meet the Middle School Ministry staff while chowing down at the pizza buffet and enjoying lots of arcade games, go-karts races, and laser tag Saturday, April 18, noon–2:00 pm, Amazing Jakes, 831 N Central Expy, 75075. The event costs $20, which includes the pizza buffet, unlimited drinks, two hours of unlimited rides, a $10 arcade card for one child as well as entry and lunch for one parent. There is a $7 charge for an additional parent to attend, which includes lunch. Register online. • Meet the Middle School Staff: Parents of fourth graders, come meet Danny Stimson and the Middle School staff Sunday, April 19, 11:00 am, the Hangout. The summer calendar will be announced, and you’ll have the opportunity to hear more about the Middle School Ministry. You’ll also get to observe what Middle School Sunday School looks like! • 4th Grade Graduation: This special occasion marks the celebration of fourth graders in our Elementary Ministry Sunday, May 17, 11:00 am, Kidz Court. The morning will be a fun and encouraging time with memories shared by teachers and volunteers. Students will get to meet and hear from Danny Stimson and the Middle School staff as well! Parents are invited to attend. • 4th to 5th Grade Transition: We will meet in the Kidz Court Sunday, May 24, 11:00 am, and escort the new middle schoolers over to the Hangout.
