Find answer to questions you’ve always had about the Bible. Join Hollis Jones and Mark Davis for a six-week series looking at many of the questions people have about the Bible. Is every word trustworthy? How did we get the 66 books? How can I defend Scripture in a world that rejects it? FAMILIES volunteer training The Family Ministry invites all volunteers working with children or youth ages 17 and under to attend an important training session Sunday, November 1, 12:15–2:30 pm, Room 301, to discuss and learn more about MinistrySafe Awareness and Protection at PCPC. MinistrySafe co-founder Kim Norris will deliver sexual abuse awareness and prevention training to all volunteers. Updated policy and procedure information will also be provided at this training.

As the Holidays approach, it is our desire to provide a small measure of support to those of you who have lost a loved one recently. A special gathering will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 7:00–8:30 pm and again on Wednesday, December 2, 7:00–8:30 pm in the Oak Lawn West Conference Room. Light refreshments will be offered, followed by a video and group discussion. Do you have a bike that you never use or is in night of worship need of repair? Our newest ministry partner, H.I.S. Young Adults (Singles, Marrieds, Families) join us for a BridgeBuilders, needs adult-sized bikes for their clients night of prayer and worship Friday, October 30, 7:00- in job training. WORLD MISSIONS extend: world missions sunday

For one day, Sunday, November 8, the whole PCPC family will focus on God’s commission for the Church to extend His Kingdom to every nation. Dr. Lloyd Kim (new Coordinator for Mission to the World) will preach at all morning services. simon johnson concert Simon Johnson, critically acclaimed organist of St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, England, will perform a recital on PCPC’s Schoenstein organ Friday, November 6, 7:30 pm. A brilliant and sensitive musician, his playing has been called “spine-tinglingly sublime.” This event is co-sponsored by the Dallas Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
