WORSHIP & THE ARTS darkness into light concert
The Easter season reminds us of history’s most epic story—the victory of Christ over evil and death. Three 20th-century musical masterpieces convey the theme of struggle, triumph, and exultation: Lo, the Full Final Sacrifce of Gerald Finzi, the festive Chichester Psalms of Leonard Bernstein, and Sergei Rachmaninov’s poignantly beautiful and passionate Piano Concerto No. 2. On Sunday, April 10, 6:00 pm, pianist Alex McDonald and symphony orchestra will join the PCPC adult, youth, and children’s choirs for this rich evening of music. Register for childcare at register.pcpc.prg. Contact frances.cope@ pcpc.org or 214-224-2633.
