This summer Pat Hobin will once again be leading a six-week study from Paul Tripp’s book, Instruments in the Redeemer’s Hands, on Wednesdays, June 14–28 and July 12–26, 7:00–8:30 pm, Oak Lawn West. While it will be some duplication of the teaching from this past summer, Pat will seek to take six specific points and drill down more deeply on them. If you did not attend this past summer, you will not be lost. Anyone who leads or would like to lead a small group of any kind, or anyone interested in improving your skills as a friend and/ or family member, will benefit greatly from this class. screening of silence Silence is a historical drama directed by Martin Scorsese based upon the 1966 novel of the same name by Shūsaku Endō. The plot follows two seventeenth century Jesuit priests who travel from Portugal to Japan to locate their missing mentor and spread Catholic Christianity.
