EVERYONE screening of silence Silence is a historical drama directed by Martin Scorsese based upon the 1966 novel of the same name by Shūsaku Endō. The plot follows two seventeenth century Jesuit priests who travel from Portugal to Japan to locate their missing mentor and spread Catholic Christianity. Join us on Sunday, June 25, 5:30 pm, Texas Theatre. The movie is rated R for a realistic portrayal of both physical and psychological persecution and it is not recommended for a younger audience. The evening is sponsored by PCPC’s Art+Spirit and a discussion will follow led by Chad Scruggs and Randy Heffner. debbie.blanton@pcpc.org or 214-224-2744
